A fourteen meter Cranchi flybridge cruiser titled Crisoa with six persons onboard was saved from sinking at Cabo de Pelos, Cartagena, Spain on the evening of Sunday nineteen October.  The flybridge cruiser was assisted by Salvamento Maritimto m/v Salvamar Draco, who first closed any water intrusion in the hull, and then towed it to safety, with this operation coordinated by the maritime controllers of Cartagena.  No one was injured in the accident, with the cause not being advised.  The story was reported on the Salvamento Maritimo Facebook page.
The Cranchi in this accident is a 48 Atlantique as designed by Andreani and produced from 1998 to 2004.  The 48 Atlantique was Cranchi largest offer in its debut, and was replaced by the 50 Atlantique.
