A ten meter Mainship flybridge cruiser was saved from sinking in Lanoka Harbor Marina, Lacey Township, New Jersey, on Friday fifteen November 2024. Sea Tow Central New Jersey who shared the story on its Facebook page assisted the flybridge cruiser, deploying an extra pump to remove the water, and then towed it to a boat yard for an emergency haul out. The cause of water intrusion was not reported.
The flybridge cruiser in this accident is a Mainship Mediterranean 35 Cockpit as produced from 1988 to 1992. The Mediterranean 35 Cockpit was a replacement to the 34 Mk.II, with the model evolving with minor changes into the Mainship 35 Convertible.
