Arksen and Rad Propulsion Announce Strategic Partnership

Arksen, a pioneer in sustainable marine vessel design, and RAD Propulsion, a leader in electric and autonomous marine propulsion, are delighted to announce a strategic commercial partnership aimed at redefining the future  of marine mobility across leisure, commercial, and defence sectors.  The collaboration will see the two companies co-develop a series of advanced vessel–propulsion platforms, pairing Arksen’s cutting-edge vessel architecture with RAD Propulsion’s next-generation electric drive and autonomy systems. Together, the brands will bring to market a revolutionary class of clean, intelligent, and highly proficient marine craft.  This partnership marks a significant step forward in the marine industry's transition towards decarbonisation and smarter vessel operations. By combining forces, Arksen and RAD Propulsion will create integrated solutions that are not only environmentally responsible,
but also offer superior performance, reliability, and mission-specific adaptability.  "This is a big leap," said Jasper Smith, Founder of Arksen. "We’re thrilled to join forces with RAD Propulsion, whose innovation in power and autonomy aligns perfectly with our mission to craft more sustainable, resilient marine systems. Together, we’re  creating vessels that will lead the market, from ocean tourism to tactical operations."  The partnership launches with three active development projects: A rugged inflatable boat featuring RAD Propulsion’s Power console, a fully integrated, cable-free helm system tailored for eco-tourism and cruise operators and defence applications.  A next-gen RHIB platform optimised for RAD’s latest electric drive systems.  Custom variations for autonomous patrol boats, tactical craft, and U.S. market pontoons, designed for mission-specific performance and scalability.  Dan Hook, CEO of RAD Propulsion, commented: "By integrating RAD Propulsion's technology, the partnership will push the boundaries on what’s possible for electric-powered vessels in remote and challenging environments, reducing the reliance on fossil fuels.  Arksen’s design and market reach, combined with our propulsion and autonomy stack, makes for a powerful offering across the marine landscape. Both companies are also committed to ensuring that this collaboration has a lasting positive impact on the  environment, aligning with the growing demand for green energy.  The partnership is structured around a lean, innovation-led working model, with a joint working party driving monthly development sprints, go-to-market strategies, and prototyping. The companies aim to maintain at least three active development projects at all times, enabling rapid response to market opportunities while keeping capital outlay low.  This strategic alliance sets the stage for a new era of marine innovation, combining beauty, intelligence, and sustainability in one integrated package.

Azimut Launches Neuron Digital Yacht Management System

Demonstrating its pioneering approach to innovation, Azimut introduces for the first time "Neuron", the fully digital system that redefines the navigation experience, making it more intuitive, immediate, and safe than ever.  Azimut confirms its leadership in innovation, marking a new milestone in the digitalization of the onboard experience with "Neuron." The owner is at the center of a technological experience that prioritizes simplicity and efficiency, because time at sea should be lived without limits.  Neuron is the new digital electrical system developed by Azimut Technical Development in partnership with MDP Tech, designed for smarter yacht management. This technological innovation is not an end in itself, but rather a service to the owner: yacht automation, diagnostics, and surveillance can now be controlled both via app and remotely, concretely improving life on board.  Thanks to Neuron, owners can benefit from an advanced yacht automation system, which, with a customizable interface, allows both control of various systems and remote analysis of the vessel. For example, lighting, climate control, and entertainment systems can be fully managed, both onboard and remotely.  Neuron also allows for remote monitoring and diagnostics with constant control, reducing routine and extraordinary maintenance by 70%. Additionally, upon customer request, it offers a smart assistance service, allowing after-sales technicians—while fully respecting customer privacy—to directly access the system to perform precise and timely diagnoses, minimizing response times. For example, if the owner needs to update the entertainment system or encounters a malfunction, activating remote support would allow for an immediate resolution, avoiding the need for in-person intervention.  Reliability and responsiveness are also guaranteed by a design approach based on a thorough risk analysis, which allows the system to minimize disruptions due to potential issues, both at sea and on land. The system itself is designed for plug & play, allowing for the rapid replacement of individual components—starting with the control units—making interventions quick and effective.  The indirect benefits are also evident. The first, and most immediate, is the 50% reduction in wiring weight, which allows for exceptional optimization of the technical spaces and frees up space on board for other functions. Furthermore, thanks to the sophisticated power management system, electricity consumption is precisely adjusted based on actual needs, minimizing any waste. Finally, by simplifying the organization of the electrical system, it increases the vessel's overall reliability.  "Neuron is a highly innovative system. It is a useful, practical innovation, not an end in itself, but a powerful means. Neuron truly improves the owner's life, not only allowing them to monitor their vessel from home and directly manage certain systems with great ease, but also performing diagnostic tests and reducing unscheduled maintenance. And, at the same time, it allows us as a shipyard to offer an even more reliable product. All this allows us to offer the owner a more peaceful and happy onboard experience," comments Ruggero Gandolfi, Azimut’s Technical Director.  Neuron has completed a six-month experimental installation on board an Azimut Fly 53 and is about to enter the final verification and testing phase, before becoming the new standard for Azimut boats up to 80 feet in length in the near future.

Feadship Heritage Joins Dutch Royal Yacht Piet Hein

Tuesday evening, the Dutch Royal yacht Piet Hein was officially welcomed into the Feadship Heritage Fleet during a formal ceremony. The gathering brought together representatives from the National Maritime Museum, SAIL, Stichting Piet Hein, Feadship and members of the FHF board.  Representing SAIL were Chairman Mr Woltering, Treasurer Mr Parmet, Mr Stunnenberg (board member), and Adjutant Mr Soetendaal. The Piet Hein was represented by Vice-Chairman Mr Post and Secretary Mr Kodde of the namesake foundation.  The Feadship Heritage Fleet is an association of owners of classic Feadships that are at least thirty years old. The organisation is dedicated to preserving these vessels, sharing knowledge, and organising joint activities on the water.  The 31-metre motor yacht Piet Hein was gifted by the Dutch people to Princess Juliana and Prince Bernhard in 1937 to mark their wedding. It was designed by the renowned naval architect Henri W. de Voogt, whose design language and vision greatly influenced the evolution of Dutch yachtbuilding. De Voogt is widely regarded as a key figure in the early history of Feadship – a fact that grants this yacht a special place within the maritime heritage that Feadship represents.  Since 1980, Piet Hein has been under the care of the Stichting Piet Hein (Piet Hein Foundation), which keeps her operational and meticulously maintained with the help of volunteers.  The membership was formally confirmed during the ceremony by the signing of the certificate and the placement of the Feadship Heritage Fleet insignia on board. Wim van Kampen, Chairman of the Feadship Heritage Fleet, underscored the importance of preserving the Dutch sailing heritage in his speech: “This is the unifying mission of the 85 members of our fleet: to safeguard these unique vessels for future generations.”  As a mark of her historical and symbolic significance, Piet Hein was named flagship of the Feadship Heritage Fleet and went on to lead 35 FHF yachts into Amsterdam during the Sail-in of SAIL.

Leopard Sets New Warranty

Leopard Catamarans, the industry-leading, performance-driven blue water cruising catamaran brand from South African builder Robertson and Caine (R&C), has announced the launch of its enhanced warranty offering that leverages over five decades of customer feedback and industry-leading digital technology. Fine-tuned over the past year, the extensive warranty program is designed to provide catamaran owners with exceptional support and peace of mind, no matter where they may be in their Leopard Catamaran journey.  Leopard Catamarans’ comprehensive dual warranty framework combines builder and OEM coverage with real-time digital tracking and global service network integration, streamlining submissions while reducing response times to deliver maximum asset protection.  The R&C builder warranty provides 14-month protection against construction defects, from cosmetic imperfections to installation issues, plus extended 24-month coverage for non-structural windows, recognizing the unique stresses of marine environments. Long-term structural assurance continues with six-year coverage for hulls, decks, deck lids, flybridges, bulkheads, and structural webs, providing Leopard Catamaran owners with lasting confidence in their investment’s fundamental integrity.  The OEM warranty ensures all onboard systems are covered by each manufacturing partner. Varying in length and coverage, once owners are registered with Yanmar, Northern Lights, and Raymarine, Leopard Catamarans will act as the owner’s single liaison, removing the complexity of managing multiple manufacturer relationships.  Further simplifying the claims process, Leopard Catamarans has developed a warranty portal on its website. A dedicated team at Leopard Catamarans reviews each submitted claim and offers owners status updates through Trello, a web-based workflow application. Leopard Catamarans’ claims process provides real-time claim transparency, connecting owners directly with support teams, engineers, and R&C technicians through shared status updates, progress notes, and live commentary throughout the repair process. Whether the issue falls under the R&C warranty or OEM, Leopard Catamaran will assign a warranty customer support agent to the claim, who will help evaluate and process the claim from start to finish. That same agent remains the owner’s main point of contact for all aspects of the warranty claim, from revising or approving estimates, payments, and reimbursements. Leopard Catamarans’ global network spans six continents and more than 20 countries, providing owners with worldwide support when and where they need it. Prioritizing getting owners back on the water as quickly as possible, Leopard Catamarans works with qualified service centers for R&C warranty work, or the owner’s preferred yard for smaller repairs. OEM claims require a specialized approach: Leopard resolves straightforward issues directly, but complex engine or electronics problems involve certified technicians and authorized service centers.  “The goal with our warranty program is simple: to give Leopard owners the confidence and clarity they deserve. By combining decades of customer feedback with new digital tools and a truly global service network, we’ve created a system that prioritizes fast, transparent support, no matter where in the world our owners are cruising,” said Jese Vega, Warranty and Commissioning Manager at Leopard Catamarans.  With more than 50 years of listening, learning, and evolving, Leopard Catamarans’ extended warranty coverage is built on real owner experiences and insights. Taking a customer-centric approach that centers on owner satisfaction, Leopard Catamarans aims to provide all with the best catamaran and experience, no matter the circumstances.

Oceanco Yard Sold to Video Game Developer Gabe Newell

This isn’t about decks and PowerPoints. Gabe’s interest in Oceanco comes from somewhere else entirely, more personal. A lifelong fascination with the sea. A deep respect for the people who live and work on it. And a belief that yachting is about tuning in. To the ocean. To yourself. To what really matters.  Gabe spent his life building companies that don’t exactly follow the script. Valve was never about market domination or quarterly wins, it was about giving smart people the space to build weird, wonderful things that changed how people play.  That same spirit draws him to Oceanco. His first decision? Leave the team alone. Seriously. Oceanco has vision and integrity, and a culture that actually works. Gabe doesn’t want to fix it, he wants to fuel it.  And not with corporate buzzwords. With trust. With tools. With unexpected ideas from unexpected places.  Because here is the thing: Gabe sees the world as full of crossovers. What happens when you let yachtbuilders talk to worldbuilders? When craftsmen get access to tech usually reserved for game devs and mad scientists? You get innovation that doesn’t just look good. It feels good.  Gabe is not here for gadgets. He is here for growth the human kind. He wants Oceanco to push harder on what it already does best: putting people first. That means more collaboration, more autonomy, and a mindset geared toward long-term evolution not just short-term wins. This isn’t about buying a yacht company. It’s about plugging into a tribe of builders, dreamers, sailors, creatives and engineers and seeing what kind of future they can shape when no one’s holding them back. This isn’t a transaction. It’s ignition.

For those ready to expand their boundaries, the partnership between Outer Reef Yachts and EYOS Expeditions marks the beginning of a new era of discovery.

Viking at 2025 Orange Beach Billfish Classic

The 2025 Orange Beach Billfish Classic kicked off the Gulf Coast Triple Crown Series with a shotgun start at the Perdido Pass in Alabama. The highlight of the weekend came in the Blue Marlin Division. Scott Cooper, fishing his Viking 80 CE with captain George Crenshaw, landed a 640.2-pound marlin to take 1st Place. “As usual, Scott was great in the chair,” said George. “And our mates were at their best when it counted most. We had the fish in the boat in just 28 minutes from the time we hooked up until we slid it into the cockpit.”  Jim Murdica, on the Viking 74 Never Settle, followed with a 468.4-pound catch, earning 2nd Place.  Team Supreme, the Krake family’s Viking 72, claimed 3rd Place in the Release Division.  Tuna action was fierce. The Viking 61 Crawgator, with Bill Butler at the helm, claimed 1st Place thanks to a 204.2-pounder. Miss Remy, a Viking 65, secured 2nd Place with a 145.8-pound fish and Diane Kay, a Viking 55, came in 3rd Place with a 141-pound tuna. This year’s Top Lady Angler was Sherry Polk aboard the Viking 72 Share-E.  The Orange Beach Billfish Classic is the largest donor to The Billfish Foundation, which promotes research, safe catching and conservation of billfish.

Viking at Mississippi Gulf Coast Billfish Classic

Next up was the Mississippi Gulf Coast Billfish Classic with 87 boats battling for a purse of almost $2 million. And the Viking 72 Breathe Easy (above) walked home with most of it. Captain Patrick Ivie put Craig Smith on a 123.5-inch blue marlin that weighed 660.3 pounds – good for Heaviest Blue Marlin and Grand Champion honors.  In the release division, the Viking 54 Born2Run took 2nd Place with Dana Foster’s four blue marlin. The Viking 80 It Just Takes Time was in 3rd Place with three blue releases. George Pratt hooked two of those blues for Top Junior, while Leah Pratt claimed one for Top Lady.  Block Time, a Viking 64, weighed the 2nd Place Tuna (above) with Thomas Boothe’s 179.5-pound fish. The 28th annual event recorded 64 blue marlin, 11 whites and one sailfish.  Now, at the halfway point in the series, Team Supreme (the 2023 and 2024 champs) was in the mix, but Devotion, a Viking 60 and the 2021 champion, wasn’t even in the top 10. But all that changed at the 3rd event of the series. "It was a tough season for us until the Emerald Coast Blue Marlin Classic," said Devotion captain Jason Hallmark. "Everything came together for us that weekend and gave us a chance."

Viking at 23rd Emerald Coast Blue Marlin Classic

The 23rd annual Emerald Coast Blue Marlin Classic began with a 78-boat shotgun start and ended with Vikings claiming the top spots of the tournament. All-In Southern Charm, Gregg Trenor’s Viking 62, weighed the heaviest blue marlin. Ron Davis was on the rod for the 654.6-pound fish, which also earned him Top Overall Angler.  Team Supreme, the Krake family’s Viking 72, dominated the Release Division with five blue marlin and a sailfish. Alex Krake angled three of those blues for Top Release Angler, while captain Chase Lake and team took 2nd Place Crew. This is the 2nd year in a row Team Supreme topped the release board.  Nathan Beardon, aboard Josh Tice’s Viking 60 Devotion, had the 2nd Place Blue Marlin at 640.4 pounds. The team also released four blue marlin, good for 2nd Place Release Team. Devotion also claimed Top Crew with captain Jason Hallmark leading the charge. This leapfrogged Devotion into the top spot on the Championship series leader-board.  After releasing four blues, Devotion was looking for another big one. “We let our bait down and got a bite on it,” said Jason. “The fish never jumped, so we didn’t know how big it was until we got it all the way up to the boat.”  Marc Padgett’s Viking 90 Nikki Bella was the 3rd Place Release Boat with three fish. Ethan Cruz added three yellowfin to the box for Top Junior Gamefish Angler, while captain Scooter Porto accepted the 3rd Place Crew honours.  In the gamefish categories, 2nd Place Tuna was hooked on the Viking 58 Rising Sons (above) with Jaselyn Berthelot’s 168.1-pound fish. Third Place Dolphin was caught by Tyler Wainwright on the Viking 55 Done Pickin’. Fishing on the Viking 50 Squid Row, Buck Gosnay’s 54.9-pound wahoo won the category. In 2nd Place was a 52.2-pound ‘hoo reeled in by Michael Savage on the Viking 50 Lumbar.  Helen DeLaney was the Top Lady Angler with two blue marlin releases on the Viking 72 Yellow Steel. Leah Pratt was the Top Junior Billfish Angler. She released a blue and white marlin on the Viking 80, It Just Takes Time.

Viking at Blue Marlin Grand Championship

Heading into the final tournament of the Gulf Coast Triple Crown, the Blue Marlin Grand Championship, Team Supreme captain Chase Lake said, "This is anything but a two-team race.” Devotion’s captain Jason Hallmark added, "There are so many teams that could come from behind us and win it. I think we're going to have to either weigh a big fish or win the Release category to win The Championship."  Devotion didn't weigh a fish at The Championship, but captain Jason put Josh Tice and Nathan Bearden on three blues a piece. They beat 65 teams to claim 1st Release Boat, which clinched their second Gulf Coast Triple Crown Championship.  "We had a very slow start to the season, but finished off strong with Jason leading the team," said an emotional owner, Josh Tice. "I can't explain how much it means to have been blessed with Jason in my life 4 1/2 years ago, along with first mate Tyler Matherne.  "Also, none of this would be possible without my business partner and best friend, Nathan Bearden. I'm so thankful for the team and family we've created on Devotion, including second mate, Chaz Chauvin, Rodney Johnson, Kolby Thornton and Hunter Green, who all mated with us this year, along with our Viking – we push to her limits!"  Other notable catches at the Blue Marlin Grand Championship included Greg Abrams, fishing on the Viking 64 Easy Trigger (above). He reeled in the second-heaviest blue marlin of the tournament with a 645.8-pound fish – edging out Dale Cole by just a few ounces. Dale’s 645.6-pounder, caught aboard the Viking 58 Cole Play, took third. “It was five hours fighting the fish,” he said. “It was a job.”  Captain Patrick Ivie and the Viking 72 Breathe Easy team claimed 3rd Place Release Boat with five blue marlin.  Marc Padgett, fishing on his Viking 90 Nikki Bella, weighed the Heaviest Tuna, a 203.2-pound yellowfin. Larry Roth hooked the Heaviest Wahoo, 32 pounds, while fishing on the Viking 54 Bella Fortuna.

Wajer Owners Challenge Ibiza 2025

Nearly 50 Wajers anchored around the island, creating a breathtaking scene across the bay. On the water, our owners engaged in playful challenges where rivalry and teamwork went hand in hand. Afterwards, the winners proudly collected their prize: the coveted golden Wajer pole-stick.  With a drink in hand, surrounded by friends who make the Wajer family so special, we raised our glasses to another unforgettable season.

Wajer Alongside Legends of Sail

Every five years, Amsterdam transforms into one of the world’s most spectacular stages for maritime heritage.  Among the iconic vessels gracing Amsterdam’s historic waters, a fleet of 23 Wajers joined the legendary SAIL-In. Where the tall ships told stories of the past, Wajer offered a glimpse of the future on the water.  Since its first edition in 1975, SAIL Amsterdam has grown into a global celebration of maritime heritage, and this year’s edition proved once again why it holds such a special place in Dutch hearts. For several days, the IJ was alive with history: towering tall ships arriving from international ports, joined by Dutch classics to form a breath-taking floating museum.  From full-rigged ships to brigs and schooners, many carried over a century of history in their sails. The Sail-In was the highlight: a parade of tradition and pride, made unforgettable by perfect weather, lively crowds, and Dutch 'gezelligheid' on and beside the water, with Wajer joining with a fleet of 32 Wajers.

Classic Style Yacht Ends Aground Near Delaware Bay

A seventeen meter classic style yacht ended aground near the Elbow of Cross Ledge abandoned light house in the Delaware Bay, on the evening of Tuesday 26 August.  The yacht was reported to be in a delivery trip when its captain is reported to have lost attention and collided into shallow waters.  The yacht was assisted by Sea Tow Cape May, who started to work in removing it from the reef.  This operation was started the following day by emptying the 1700 litres of diesel fuel, and then by removing the yacht on Thursday, with this being done with help from Northstar Marine, who brought a barge with a 275 ton crane, and lifted the yacht from its precarious position.
The yacht in this grounding is a first version Vicem 58 Classic Flybridge as produced from 2010 to 2017.  The Vicem 58 Classic Flybridge was a replacement to the 55 Classic Flybridge, with the model evolving into a second version in 2018.

It is an evolution not only in length but also in details, larger hull windows but also a rub rail connected the hull and super structure which stops at half ship, making the lower and top deck look as one whole peace.  Measuring thirteen meters overall, the Parana 40 is the evolution of the Italian sport cruiser, which strikes the balance between internal and external spaces, leaving no detail overlooked. Project: Sanlorenzo SL110 Asymmetric

Sanlorenzo presents the SL110 Asymmetric, the latest evolution of the shipyard's famous asymmetrical motor yacht line. The SL110A introduces a new architectural vision to the world of yachting, combining structural elegance and innovation combined with spacious interiors, flooded with natural light that blend seamlessly with the exteriors, offering a unique sailing experience that establishes an even deeper connection with the sea. The result of a collaboration between Sanlorenzo, Zuccon International Project for the exterior design, and Piero Lissoni with Lissoni and Partners for the interiors, the SL110A is the perfect synthesis of authentic design, functionality, comfort, and performance, with a speed of up to 27 knots from the large of two MTU engine choices.  As the latest evolution of the brand’s acclaimed asymmetrical line, it reimagines what a 33-metre super yacht can be, offering expanded light-filled interiors, seamless indoor-outdoor flow, and a deeper connection to the sea. Debuting at the 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival the coming September, the SL110A is a super yacht for owners who demand beauty without compromise, and versatility with vision. SL110A marks the culmination of a design journey that began with the SL102A in 2018 and evolved through the SL106A which this model replaces. Its elegant, timeless lines and carefully reduced stylistic elements create a refined profile that transcends trends. Subtle asymmetry enhances visual harmony while also unlocking more liveable interior volume. A technical innovation staggered gangways on the starboard and port sides allows the gangway area to be absorbed into the interior layout, further increasing spaciousness and comfort. The reimagined bow, developed with Lissoni and Partners, eliminates the typical aerodynamic “bonnet” in favour of a true sea-facing terrace, complete with integrated sofas and a swimming pool. The result is a minimalist yet elegant retreat, optimised for liveability and connection with the water.  A hidden hatch cleverly conceals the mooring area, ensuring cleaner lines and improved usability. The stern continues the design narrative, with references to the SL86A as launched in 2024. A transparent gunwale creates a seamless connection between cockpit and sea, while the pivoting beach platform reveals a garage for both tender and jet ski. Retractable stairs and gangways preserve the yacht’s clean silhouette. The versatile outdoor lounge on the main deck can shift from sunbathing to dining without fixed configurations, underscoring the yacht’s flexibility. The interior architecture of the SL110A is conceived as a continuation of the exterior experience. Large windows, retractable bulwarks, and sliding gunwales allow light and air to pour in, dissolving boundaries and enhancing the sensation of space. Guests can enjoy a lounge that opens onto the sea via a drop-down terrace, creating an expansive, immersive environment. It is this fusion with the exterior environment that enhances the experience of the owner and his guests, allowing ample breathing space in an interplay between the interior and the sea. To make this feature explicit there is a solution designed when the boat is at anchor: on the starboard side it is in fact possible to pull down the bulwark and thus open up a terrace overlooking the sea. The same effect is recreated by the gunwale that slides downwards, widening the window below to allow guests to fully enjoy the outside environment, being closer to the sea. At the heart of the SL110A lies the wide-body, full-beam owner’s suite conceived as a true sanctuary. It provides panoramic sea views, total privacy, and direct access to the foredeck pool. A private entry connects the master cabin with the bow and upper decks, allowing the owner to enjoy separation while staying connected with every corner of the yacht. This intelligent use of space elevates comfort and intimacy at sea. Below deck are four guest cabins; two VIP, two convertible twin/double and generous crew quarters with three cabins, six berths, and a separate mess to ensure operational privacy. The mezzanine housing the wheelhouse provides direct access to a flybridge offering the flexibility to create a sunbathing lounge, al fresco dining area, or private retreat with direct access to the pool. Dark wood panelling, coffered ceilings with resin finishes, herringbone patterns, and stone-effect materials define the yacht’s refined interior atmosphere. The owner’s bathroom is finished in luxurious Calacatta marble. The SL110A is more than a yacht it is a design statement, from the sculpted asymmetry that expands space and light, to the seamless interplay between interior and exterior, it redefines the relationship between form and function.

Project: Evo Yachts R4 Icone

Evo Yachts celebrates the tenth anniversary of the launch of the first R4 with a model that pays tribute to the shipyard’s history, and at the same time taking a new step forward towards an on-board experience increasingly focused on comfort, without however betraying the brand’s sporty spirit and the desire to offer maximum flexibility and customisation options. This model is the new R4 Icone, which will be given its world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival, featuring a hull about a metre longer than the original version, an aggressive bow, a new integrated design for the air intakes, and large windows in the hull sides that flood the interiors with natural light.  Designed by Evo Yachts with Valerio Rivellini to offer an incredibly comfortable and convenient lifestyle on board at any time of the year, while maintaining the boat’s dynamic performance, Evo Yachts’ new model has a main deck with an enclosed area covered by an aluminium hard top, built entirely by the Shipyard and a console clearly based on automotive design, featuring a large C-shaped sofa with a backrest that can be arranged to offer either a forward or rear-facing view, and a pilot seat that can be adjusted to various heights for perfect ergonomics. The living area contains a table that can be converted into a double bed and is completed by a kitchen unit, while a pantograph door provides easy access to the outside area. The XT platform at the stern, developed by the Shipyard jointly with Besenzoni, extends the surface area aft and brings it closer to the water, increasing the space and comfort on board and transforming the setting into a seafront terrace that can be configured and furnished as desired, to enjoy in different ways at different times of day.  Below deck, in addition to the fridge and storage area and a hallway, there are two large enclosed double cabins. The interiors are decorated and furnished to transmit a feeling of great warmth, achieved through the use of Alcantara, Alpi wood and various types of materials that share an appealing texture. The yacht is powered by two Volvo 480hp with IPS pod drives.  Like all Evo Yachts models, this boat too, which draws on ten years of experience and is the result of a process of continuous range improvement, can be customised in many different ways – including both the interior and exterior layout, for different types of owner from families to groups of friends, and for different needs, and for people who love spending time in the open air, to those who enjoy the cruising experience in Winter.

The result is a walk around sport cruiser with a distinctly contemporary character, also thanks to a meticulously designed color palette: elegant shades of grey and black are complemented by the iconic “Arsham Green,” a unique aqua green hue symbolizing the artist’s poetic vision, skilfully integrated into the hull line, console, hard top, and onboard furnishings. In the fall of 2024 Novamarine debuted the Black Shiver 200, a new flagship and a replacement to the slightly bigger BS 220.  Like any Novamarine the BS 200 is full of unique features which characterize the brand that launched one the first maxi ribs, the RH160 back in the nineties, from its oval shape foam filled tubes but also its distinct hard-top form which is a unique feature of the Black Shiver line.  The Black Shiver 200 presents itself as a center console, walk-around with a dinette a central dinette behind the center console, and a large C-shaped dinette forward.  A sun-pad is located aft, with the forward dinette also transforming to a sun-pad.  The interior of the first Black Shiver 200 featured a large C-shaped dinette forward which transforms to a large double berth, a shower head to port side, and a galley to starboard.  The first Black Shiver 200 is powered by twin Man 1300hp with Arneson surface drives for top speeds up to 48 knots and a cruise of forty, with Novamarine stressing that other propulsion options including outboards can also be fitted to the Black Shiver 200.
