It's challenging times yet again in Genoa, with the latest editions in the last five years being one harder then the previous. Nothing has changed this in the 54th edition, with some important names deciding to skip the show, and others making the return move. All this shows the fragility of the current Italian market, and the need to rescue the international prime status of Italy's largest boat show. It's hard when the majority of the boutique style custom and semi-custom boat builders are closed. The 2014 will be six days long and adds one day to the reduced calendar of the 2013 edition and will be held from Wednesday one till Monday sixth October. Genoa will be bring some nice novelties from the following companies; Austin Parker 54 Fly S, Dellapasqua DC13 Elite, Rio 38 Parana, Rose Island 53 Lobster, and Saver 300 Deluxe and 22 Pilothouse.
