Project: Sunreef Supreme 88 Power

The Sunreef Supreme 88 Power is a super yacht-catamaran with imposing living space and innovative design solutions, an audacious concept establishing new benchmarks in terms of comfort and living at sea. The architecture of these yachts follows the design characteristics of the Supreme range. The radical concept of the superstructure allows to keep the saloon and exterior deck on the same level. As a result, the Sunreef Supreme 88 Power boasts an enormous main room of 115 sqm surrounded with floor to ceiling glass, a smooth, seamless space opening onto the cockpit and giving direct access to the deck through folding doors on both sides of the yacht. The exterior and interior surfaces merge into one panoramic lounging and dining area.  All the spaces on-board are entirely customizable. The front part of the scenic main room, depending on the Owner’s choice, can be used for an extravagant master suite with direct access to the front terrace. The arrangement choice for the space available on the interior main deck is limitless with enough breadth to house a fully equipped galley, large sofas, a bar, coffee tables and additional lounging areas. The design of the hulls offers a maximum versatility in the possibilities for a smart, individually tailored layout. The impressive volumes available can accommodate a large galley with storage, a generous master suite, a gym area, luxuriously furnished guest cabins and crew quarters with separate access. The yacht’s living spaces can be entirely personalized and decorated. The choice of fabrics, stone tiles, wood and leathers is infinite to achieve a fully personalized decor and style of the cabins, saloon and bathrooms.  The Sunreef Supreme 88 Power features an immense flybridge of over 90 sqm topped with an elegant bimini. The area can be custom-fitted with a bar, sofas, tables, sun-pads or a large Jacuzzi. Depending on the use of the yacht, the sundeck can also be used to house a helipad. All the Sunreef Supreme 88 Power yachts are equipped with an aft garage. This voluminous space allows to conveniently store a jet tender, jet-skis or diving gear. The garage door, when lowered, levels with the yacht’s aft platforms to create an exterior lounging and sunbathing space.  Engines for the Sunreef Supreme 88 Power is from twin 800hp units.

New Model: Hardy 65

Hardy launch a new flagship, a semi-displacement explorer type yacht designed by Andrew Wolstenholme who brings little ship characteristics to the motor yacht market, making the 65 ideal for the cruising yachtsman.  Capable of up to 30 knots from a twin 1200hp installation, her standard MAN 800hp engines give 25 knots, with quiet, comfortable, effortless cruising in any weather conditions. Engine controls are located in the wheelhouse, flybridge and aft deck and 6,100 liters of fuel can be carried another indication that this motor yacht is built to go places.  The expansive flybridge deck, which is accessed from the aft deck and directly from the wheelhouse, offers various seating and dining areas, with plenty of space left over to stow a RIB. The aft deck is laid out to suit al fresco dining and leads through double doors to a light, bright saloon.  Various layouts are possible, including having the galley just aft of the wheelhouse, or at the lower accommodation level.  Sleeping accommodation typically comprises three double en-suite cabins, with the owner’s stateroom comfortably positioned amidships and flooded with light through four large hull windows.  Below the aft deck, and accessed via a door in the aft superstructure, the lazarette area can be fitted with crew accommodation and also serves as a utility/workshop area. A watertight door leads through to a proper engine room that has standing headroom and easy maintenance access to all equipment.  The Hardy 65 is built on a semi-custom basis allowing buyers to optimize both the interior layout and finishing of their yachts to precisely match their cruising requirements and tastes.

Project: Sessa 64 Explorer

Sessa present the project for a new Explorer 64, to a design by Davide Cipriani of Centrostiledesign.  At the root of this concept entirely conceived and designed by Davide Cipriani's team is a new way of experience the sea, by seizing all of its beauty at any moment of the day. The design of the roomy and spacious interiors goes in this direction. The main deck of the 64 Explorer is reserved for a large salon, galley and helm station, while the lower deck is the sleeping accommodation area, with a double full beam owners stateroom with private access, and a guests and VIP suites both with their own bathrooms.  These areas bask in natural light coming from the outside through large continuous windows on the hull and the side glass wall of the main salon that exploits the concept of “through house” to establish a continuous relationship between interiors and exterior scenarios. In the same way the goal of the definitely high level furnishings project is to recreate the comfort and intimacy of a home, in addition to giving the owner the possibility to personalize his living space. Comfort and a welcoming atmosphere are the guidelines for the exteriors project as well. The 80 sq.m terrace and two decks are dedicated to guests and are ideal for relaxing at any time.  The Explorer 64 project combines the beauty of a larger yacht with functionality by adopting innovative ergonomic solutions such as the design of the bow.  Straight lines contrast with a soft and capacious aft, the result of scrupulous calculations made during the design step. What emerges is a yacht able to part the waves and disperse their energy, in this way ensuring safe, comfortable and low-cost navigation in any condition, even with a moderate sea. Its large tanks of 4500 liters and spacious material storage area also give the yacht a range of over 3000 miles.  The partnership between Centrostiledesign and Sessa carries on after the prior project of the Fly 21 Gullwing presented in the fall of 2016.

Her reincarnation has been a great success and prompted considerable client interest. She is currently cruising in the Caribbean and will re-locate to the Mediterranean later this year.  Baltic Yachts will also show the opportunity to showcase its motor yacht building capability with the launch of MY78, Bill and Me, this summer.  One of the first projects of this new plan is the above rendered Baltic 112MY designed by Designed Unlimited.  The British design firm is working on two other projects one of which is of eighty feet.

Project: Belize 66 Sedan

Belize has just announced the latest in its line of classically-styled motor yachts, with a project for a new 66 model designed by Stephen Ford.  The new 66 builds on the heritage, first unveiled in 2011, of a luxury traditional inspired yacht that evokes the styles of a bygone era of yachting, of gleaming hand-crafted interiors and, most importantly, of individuality.  The original Belize 54 quickly attracted owners who, after many years of boating, knew exactly what they wanted and had found a marque and a team who could help them create their ultimate yacht.  Today, 25 Belize 54 are cruising international waters, from the coral reefs of Queensland to the Great Lakes and New England regions of the United States where style and tradition are part of the yachting bloodline. Owners are supported by the professional Riviera worldwide dealership and services network.  Now the Belize marque has taken the concept of a semi-custom yacht to a new level with the 66, that delivers a new sense of space, comfort and luxury and offers an unmatched level of customization and bespoke elements.  The 66 is available in Sedan or Daybridge models, with three or four cabins with a large aft utility room or optional crew quarters.  The 66 Sedan rendered above is the hard top more coupe style variant with the living all concentrated on the main deck.   Power is delivered by Volvo with IPS pod propulsion.  Three hulls have been sold, with the first being a 66 Sedan for a US client, which has started construction and has a mid 2018 delivery schedule.
