New Model: Wayachts 40 Wake

After launching its third model last year with the 66, Wayachts presents its new 40 Wake.  The new small Wayachts is to be the entry level of the range before the Naples boat builder sets work on a new large Super Sport Yacht 86 feet flagship. With the 40 Wake, Wayachts continues the philosophy of a large modern looking walk around sport boat, but at the same time offering a lot of cruiser commodities in a comfortable two cabins interior layout usable for a cruise.  Hull one pictured above featured also a hard top.  Unlike the first of the the range the 46 which featured single level side decks, the Wake 40 walk around forward part gets up by two steps in order to arrive to the bow sun worshippers area, made to make better use of interior space. Considering the outside spaces, inside is a rather spacious layout with a forward owners room with island double berth, C-shaped saloon, galley, second guest cabin with two single berths, and a shower head.  Power is from twin Volvo standard 300hp or optional 370, with propulsion being in both cases trusted to IPS forward looking pods.

New Model: Wayachts 66 Wake

Wayachts follows its first model the 46 and 48 Wake, with the launching of the 66 Wake which in this exclusive we are showing you in sea trials in the bay of Naples, preparing itself before going for its World debut at the Genoa boat show in October. Just as the 48 Wake, the 66 Wake is designed by Francesco Rolla for the lines and Stefano Milanesi for the technical part, keeping in line with the family feeling of this Italian builder which has a plan of launching three more models in the near future. The 66 Wake follows some basic concepts we saw on the much acclaimed 46/48 model, like the all around deck, and the use of Volvo IPS pods propulsion. The main deck is full of new concepts especially to what regards the living part inside, and its unique plan with side entrances, a lounging aft, and central pilot station to fore. Another innovation here is in the glassed surfaced of the hard top and the sides which can be adjusted to let or block the sunlight completely. Below a choice for a three or four cabins lower deck, plus an optional one person crew cabin is available. Standard power is from twin Volvo 700hp with IPS pods which give a 36 knots top speed, and a cruise of 32 to this loaded but still light 27 tons Sport Yacht. A more powerful twin 900hp Volvo should give top speeds of around 40 knots.

Project: Wayachts 48 Wake

Based on the hull lines of the 46 Wake, Wayachts present the project of the 48 Wake a further development of its first model. The 48 Wake is distinguished from the first presented model of this Italian builder by an integrated carbon hard top covering the central helm station and C-shaped settee, and an aft bathing platform which adds the extra two foot of length from the 46. Apart from these two design accessories which further validate the Wayachts comfort, the 48 Wake offers the same big day boat center console feel of the 46, with its full walk around deck, which makes all the exterior a one place for entertainment. Down below the same twin cabin head interior with galley and saloon as for the 46 is kept. Power choices have not been announced but imagine Volvo IPS500 and IPS600 choices as for the 46.

Project: Wayachts 66 Wake

After launching its 46 Wake in 2006, Italian boat builder Wayachts presents the project of the bigger 66 Wake. This is the second model to be shown up by Wayachts in the announced range from 46 to 76 feet. Designed by Francesco Rolla on a similar walk around Sea Different concept as the 46, the twenty metre 66 will be a distinctive tad different to whats around hard top sport yacht. The interior of its main deck is innovative offering large glassed view surfaces nothing new here, but with a sort of a cocoon design to the layout, which takes hints from the outside, and keeps going to all the interior, but most specifically the main deck. The entrance for the inside is also innovative or call it strange for being through large side doors, leaving the aft area space all to the C-shaped dinette. Under the hard top one also finds a three person central located helm station, with a wet bar behind it. Down below is the accommodation and galley area. Sleeping accommodation should offer eight berths in four guest cabins, plus a single crew cabin. Power will be from quadruple IPS 435hp engine choice, with the builder estimating top speeds of 37 knots.
