To achieve the desired power output, Vanquish Yachts has installed three MTU 2650hp engines backed up by surface drives and a design that was taken as the starting point for this speed machine.  The narrow hull has been developed to optimize comfort and performance levels and increase efficiency at top speeds. Twin Seakeeper stabilizers will safeguard comfort at all speeds on this smart synthesis of a sport boat and luxury yacht. Outdoor entertainment options abound on the VQ115 Veloce with an expansive foredeck, large aft deck and flybridge sunbathing area.   A large tender bay will house a VQ16, lifted by a hydraulic loading platform, while a second VQ11 tender is  located in a second garage to starboard, also home to a live bait tank, paddleboards, sea bobs and other toys.  The flybridge has been superbly integrated within a distinctive exterior profile, part of a pure design with clean lines and the elegant, instantly recognizable Vanquish look.  The main deck saloon of the first VQ115 is fully tailored to the owner’s wishes with movable furniture to allow flexibility of occasion and time of day.  Office space is included for when work calls, there is a neat pantry with its own cocktail bar, plus a day head to keep the lower deck private. New Launch: Vanquish VQ80 SF

A custom order which was signed in the end of 2020 the Vanquish VQ80 SF is a sport-yacht-fish cross over, like we never have seen before.  Designed as all Vanquish by Guido de Groot with its main duty to be a chase yacht for the Heesen 60-metre superyacht hull number YN19995 Project SkyFall which launched the first half of 2023, the VQ80 SF introduces something new for Vanquish and to the conservative sea-fishing world. The VQ80 Sportsfish might be the young 2012 founded semi-custom-production Vanquish most substantive customization as yet, taking the Dutch builder away from its usual sport yacht zone into that of a hybrid between a luxurious sportfish and a sport-performance-yacht.  The customization though does not deviate Vanquish from its De Groot futuristic lines and the VQ80 SF is a sports yacht first with sportfishing features later; like the tower and free aft cockpit with central high rise aft looking mezzanine. Important to note the yacht features shine through, integrated bathing platform aft, two side opening balconies, lower helm station, and full walk around deck.  Down below the Vanquish VQ80 SF offers a three double cabins layout with an owners suite forward, and a crew cabin for two.  Performance? If competing in a sports fishing tournament the VQ80 SF might actually take first for speed, with twin Cats 2400hp and surface drive propulsion giving a 52 knots performance.

The first VQ70 will feature a T-Top and is to be powered by twin 2000hp Man engines with waterjet drives custom built for an American client to sail around Miami and the Bahamas. The immediate popularity of the VQ70 which is also available in a hard-top version, and comes as a logical extension of the best-selling VQ58.  Vanquish futuristic take on mixing style with power, the VQ70 is a speedy sport yacht that offers lots of outdoor space for eating, lounging and partying with a standard accommodation layout of two double stateroom layout, plus a two berth crew cabin at midships.  The Vanquish will also feature two garage one at midships with side starboard exit, and a traditional garage under the sun-pad.  Both garages can accommodate Vanquish custom build VQ11 tender.  Vanqusih VQ70 is standard powered by triple Volvo 1000hp for a top speed up to 35 knots, or as is the case of hull one with twin Man 2000hp combined to waterjets propulsion which will give fifty knots wide open throttle speeds.

Project: Vanquish VQ115 Veloce

Ordered by and developed in tandem with a repeat client, the first VQ115 Veloce will roar along at a blistering fifty plus knots and break records in the process.  Having had huge fun on his current Vanquish, the client was fully aware of Vanquish  capacity for customization. He also loves sparring with Vanquish founder Tom Steentjes, who is famed for his no-nonsense, non-traditional approach.  This first hull for the VQ115 Veloce line is therefore the result of some serious brainstorming sessions about a super sport yacht  that will allow large groups of people to be entertained, enjoy extended stays onboard and tap into a wide range of watersports. While the initial discussions were based on design concepts for a VQ90, the talks soon evolved as the owner added an extra cabin, a dedicated dining area on the lower deck and two garages. The resulting 35-metre super sport yacht has more of everything that makes Vanquish unique in the market while staying totally in tune with the brand DNA.  That also means no compromises in terms of speed, with the installation of the largest engines possible, triple  MTU 2650hp, surface drives propulsion, which will power theVQ115 Veloce to an exceptional speed of fifty plus knots.  She will also quite possibly be the fastest aluminums yacht over thirty meters with normal diesel engines, i.e. non-turbine-driven–built to date.  While all VQs are famously fast, this combination of length and knots posed a challenge that the entire design trajectory revolved around this issue.  Studio Delta in the Netherlands was called in for the naval architecture of a hull that features deflectors in the bottom shell to direct the spray aft. The result is optimal comfort and performance levels and a significant efficiency increase at top speeds.  Exterior designer Guido de Groot and his team had a relatively narrow hull on which to base their design. The engines will be placed in a trapezium shape with the middle engine forward.  Two gyro stabilizers will enable the retention of another typical Vanquish characteristic, genuine comfort at all speeds on this smart synthesis of a race boat and luxury yacht. An impressive range of up to 600 nm will be possible when running on one or two engines, with an extra fuel tank available for cruising at lower speed.  Despite the phenomenal propulsion package, lots of space remains aft for a large tender bay that will house a VQ16. This mighty craft will be launched by a dedicated tender system, while a multifunctional hydraulic platform will ensure easy access to and from the water via a passerelle and swimming ladder. Another tender in the form of a VQ11 water scooter will be housed in a second garage on the starboard side. This area will double as a leisure playground with a live bait tank, paddleboards, sea bobs and other toys. A hydraulic ladder will make diving a breeze.  Outdoor entertainment is a major factor in all areas of the yacht; while this is the norm on every Vanquish, the theme is being literally and figuratively taken to new lengths on the VQ115. The expansive foredeck, for instance, has a large seating area for lounging and dining, plus the option to lift up the sun beds and create a salt water jacuzzi. There is a wealth of relaxation options on the aft deck too while the fly-sport-bridge has a dedicated sunbathing area as well as its own helm station.  The flybridge has been superbly integrated with in a distinctive exterior profile, part of a pure design with clean lines and that sexy, elegant, instantly recognizable Vanquish look. Those sharing space on the water with this powerhouse will certainly be glad of the advance visual notice as the negative bowheads their way.  The interior features a futuristic style to match the exterior design, with a casual groove, emblematic Vanquish details and 45-degree treatments. A smart layout makes optimum use of the enlargeds pace available. The main deck saloon will be fully tailored to the owner’s wishes with movable furniture to allow flexibility of occasion and time of day. Office space is included for when work calls, there is a neat pantry with its own cocktail bar, plus a day-head to keep the lower deck private. Stairs rise to the sport-flybridge above while the aft door opens fully to create a unified space with th eaft deck: matching floors will ensure continuity between the outdoor and indoor spaces.  The lower deck features a more extensive galley and a U-shaped seating/dining area in a country kitchen style. Accommodations include a full-beam master suite, a VIP and a guest cabin, all with their own bathrooms. A dedicated media room includes a large television, a high-end sound system plu stwo Pullmans that bring the potential sleeping capacity to eight. There are also berths for four crew members.  The Vanquish VQ115 Veloce is scheduled for delivery in the fall of 2022 direction the Hamptons.

Project: Vanquish VQ80 Sportfish

Vanquish Yachts in the Netherlands confirms a new order for a sleek, saucy and fully bespoke sportfish yacht the likes of which has never been seen among the shoals. The 24-metre will be known as the VQ80 Sportfish, and is expected to serve as the Chase Boat for Project SkyFall, a 60-metre superyacht currently under construction at Heesen. One of the fastest superyachts on the planet today, she combines fantastic sportfish functionality with the unique Vanquish lifestyle and pure design elements that have brought the brand global fame.  The product of many months of Research and Design cooperation and direct contacts between Vanquish Yachts founder Tom Steentjes, the owner’s team, exterior and interior designer Guido de Groot and the naval architects at Studio Delta, this game-changing project will introduce an unprecedented degree of imposing looks, breakneck speed and high-tech sophistication to the conservative sea-fishing world. A hybrid between a luxurious sportfish superyacht and a VQ powerboat at the peak of its performance, this fast fully-custom chase boat will have every conceivable facility and layout option for the avid-angler owner and his fishing buddies.  The thunder for this extreme boat will be provided by the next-generation Cat marine engine, set to offer a storming 4800 horsepower in total. The brand-new Caterpillars will in turn feed two surface drives that will drive the VQ80 at 51 knots in light load conditions. Advancing the throttles will be an experience in itself on the most powerful VQ to date, which will also carry a whopping 5700 litres of fuel. With a range at 48 to 50 knots of 330 nautical miles, the best off-the-beaten-track fishing grounds come into play and no school of fish will be safe.  The deployment of Petestep’s hull technology will increase efficiency by over 15% in high speeds, allowing for an impressive top speed and operating range. In combination with the suspension effect of the Petestep deflectors, the VQ80 SportFish will set a new benchmark for performance and ride comfort in the yacht industry.  The VQ80 Sportfish will also offer a fantastic fishing experience for a super sportfish kitted out with the latest Garmin gear including fish-finders and chart plotters. Once the reel battle has been won, hydraulic doors open both port and starboard to safely haul the fish into the hold. A great deal of consideration has been given to storage for the catch as well as the widest range of fishing equipment and rods.  The formable profile of this VQ80 SportsFish exudes power and speed in every detail, with an aggressive paint scheme adding to the mix.  The elegant and sporty interior will continue the cool exterior ascetic with carbon fibre finishing, lots of play with light features, dark faucets and an absence of wood finishes. The large saloon has an additional outside sitting area to relax or watch the angling action. Good-sized refrigerators, large televisions, DJ panels and a wide selection of other entertainment facilities will provide a top-drawer after-fishing vibe.  Storage space has been subject to careful scrutiny in the luxury areas too in order to make life easy for owners and guests during extended stays. Overnight expeditions will be a pleasure thanks to the forward owner’s suite and two double guest cabins. With accommodation for two crew members also included, the onboard service levels will be high. Last but not least, a Seakeeper 26 will ensure maximum comfort at anchor.  Due for delivery in spring 2023, the remarkable VQ80 SportsFish reinforces the unrivalled potential to build 24-metre custom powerboats on offer at VQ Yachts. The Dutch yard already has a wide variety of projects in build in other sizes, including the VQ11 and VQ16 waterscooter tenders, the composite VQ40 SuperSport, and the VQ45, VQ52, VQ58 and VQ68, all brilliantly built in aluminium.  Vanquish has recently extended its facilities to deal with an upsurge in orders and established a new division called Vanquish Super Yachts to handle larger builds such as the VQ80 Sportfish.

This new Vanqish project embodies sport cruiser / runabout / walk-around boat blends together premium Dutch artisan-ship with Bakewell-White’s potent stepped hull and Guido de Groot’s exquisite exterior profile to create a true drivers boat.  Vanquish has already gained a massive fan base for its bespoke aluminium powerboats, which are being ordered worldwide by clients in ever larger versions. But size isn’t everything and the VQ40 will be built in high-quality composite to meet an equally strong demand for Vanquish yachts under 45 feet. Leveraging on the yard’s experience with composite on the successful VQ16 water scooter, Vanquish will be able to create more VQ40s in a shorter time frame, further boosting the brand’s global visibility.  The renderings of the VQ40 already quicken the heart. They also illustrate the remarkable time and effort which has gone into ensuring that all the assets that make a Vanquish unique have been included in this stunning new speed machine.  The stepped hull was designed by the award-winning naval architects at Bakewell-White Yacht Design, specialists in high-performance hulls from New Zealand. Their work on the VQ40 has helped ensure an unrivaled acceleration and a boat that excels in terms of wave riding skills and maneuverability. The rest of the exceptionally cool exterior design is from the drawing boards of Guido de Groot who has poured elegance and resolve into this latest member of the fleet, giving the VQ40 that instantly recognizable Vanquish flair.  A key consideration in the development of the VQ40 was the wide range of different clients that Vanquish serves. The boat is therefore exceptionally multi functional and can be equipped with a wide selection of engines.  The standard inboard propulsion setup consists of twin 320hp Volvo D4 diesels with stern drives and a maximum speed of 40 knots. Clients can also opt for twin 440 hp Volvo D6 engines to increase their top speed to 46 knots. Four different interior layouts have been devised for eight to ten guests, optimum acoustic insulation will ensure maximum comfort, and the galley will be designed by top Swiss chef René Schudel. A second version of the VQ90 is available with less powerful engines that still provide a top speed of 40 knots.

Project: Vanquish VQ48

The brand-new Vanquish VQ48 was designed entirely from scratch, while respecting the typical lines of Dutch sport boat builder. A major focus was on the input of clients who were looking for a blend of some of the best features of the VQ43 and the VQ50. As a result, the foredeck of the VQ48 features a smaller version of the dinette on the VQ50 plus the popular sun beds found on the VQ43. The design also includes two specially developed steering positions, a large lounge sofa and a smartly designed convertible top which differs from traditional biminis thanks to its tubes and braces. To further underline the ‘drivers’ boat’ proposition of Vanquish Yachts and meet the demands of the clients, this model was developed in close cooperation with renowned designer Guido de Groot, which has an excellent reputation worldwide and has worked on award-winning yachts for yards such as Feadship, Jongert, Mulder, and AB Yachts. Thanks in part to its experience in car design, the renowned agency successfully interpreted our ideas in the best possible way.  The new VQ48 combines the characteristic shape, awesome agility, supreme comfort and premium build quality that all Vanquish sports boats share while taking the design to an even higher level of sophistication. One of the highlights is the way a beautiful rub rail is incorporated into the design. We also offer you the opportunity to customise the VQ48 in accordance with your personal wishes and demands. Inside the VQ48 will feature a double berth a small saloon, shower head, and a galley wet bar.  Power will come from pod drives with 600 and 715hp choices.
