Project: Queens Yachts 58 Hard Top

Queens Yachts presents the project for a new 58 Hard Top. It will be interesting to see if the 58 will be a replacement of the current 54 model or it will be an additional model in the Queens line up. Apart the renderings above no further details have been given so far for the 58, but the new project seems to continue the next step in Queens Yacht design philosophy as shown with the 50 model. See windows profile. Important note that the 50 model showed Queens change designer duties from Alessandro Ino, to the TDF Studio of Laverna and Vienna.  As shown in the rendering, the Queens 58 should be a line shaft propulsion yacht but the Italian builder did show that it always offers other options to its buyers.

This improved 72 also featured modifications to the windows; in the owner mid ship located stateroom, and to the lower ones of the coach roof now being of a more clean profile. For the rest the Queens 72 designed by architect Alessandro Inno from Ino Group featured the same four cabin layout, and elegant clean lines. The lower deck plan of the Queens 72 is pretty alternative for a 21 meter sport yacht offering four cabins with one of the guest rooms located aft, and having among the most spacious owners stateroom in this size. A two crew cabin with L-shaped bunks is also located aft to starboard. Power is from twin MTU 1200hp with standard line shaft propulsion.

New Model: Queens Yachts 62

Queens Yachts presents its fourth model with the much waited 62, second bigger model in its current produced range. The Italian Queens, here competes in a tight market spot with all the major builders offering similar themed and sized boats. Queens Yachts major advantage seems to be big spaces, spacious three double cabins all with private head, private crew cabin aft, and not so large engines with twin 900hp MAN pushing this 29 toner Sport Yacht. Wondering what the performance will be as this is a very small choice for this size, but if this manages thirty knots plus I am sure those who choose the Queens Yachts 62 will smile a lot at the pump. In the interior the new 62 has a three cabins heads layout, with a spacious full beam owners cabin. There is also a fairly spacious crew cabin aft. The galley is located on the main deck to the fore port side and down two steps of the main deck bridge area, aimed at creating a separate area. Aft of this there is also a dining table and L-shaped saloon settee.

Projects: Queens Yachts 54, Queens Yachts 62, Queens Yachts 86

3 new project models from Queens Yachts another Italian builder coming from the Island of Sicily in Messina. This builder has a range of already 3 models, the 70 and two version for the 45 with latest being the Limited Edition presented in Genoa 2008. Here it presents the 54, 62, and its new planned flagship the 86. The 54 pictured above follows Queens Yachts concept of a fully enclosed hard top sport yacht offering its main living on the main deck, a theme offered in all of its models so far. Here one finds an l-shaped settee to port, entertainment unit and helm station to starboard. Down below one finds the three double cabins, the galley, and two bathrooms of which one en suite for the owner. Owners cabin is full beam, and its private bathroom offers a separate shower stall and also a bidet. Standard power is twin MAN R6 730hp. Queens Yachts 62 is the next model to be launched by this builder, with estimated presentation for the coming Spring. Designed by Alessandro Inno it offers a different main deck dedicated to free spaces with a circle shaped patio door which opens all, complimented by a semi circle settee which turns accordingly to ones desire. Galley is also located on the main deck saloon to starboard side. The lower deck is reserved for the 3 cabins all with private heads. Here we have the much requested layout with full beam owners cabin, VIP cabin to fore, and guests double cabin in between. Worth noting is the spaciousness of the owners en-suite having a length similar to the third guest cabin. Power is from twin MAN V8 900hp. Little information is so far offered of the new big Queens Yachts 86, which puts this builder in the Super Yacht league. A welcoming entertainment saloon l-shaped settee, and a galley welcome you inside of the 86. More forward of the main deck the plan shows a dining table for 8 to port, a central helm station, and an l-shaped settee. Just behind the l-shaped settee there is a day head on the main deck, unusual for a Sport Yacht also on this sizes, but which is much appreciated. Lower deck is reserved for the 4 guest cabins, with a central mid-ship master cabin offering also a walk in wardrobe. A double crew cabin and lobby is located to mid ship with entrance from the galley on the main deck. An additional single crew berth with private head is located aft.
