New Model: Hampton 650

The new Hampton 650 has garnered the attention of those who have admired the company’s pilothouse cruiser series, but found the 700 and retired 680 with a bit more yacht than they needed and wanted a little more room that the 590 model. The Hampton 650 with all its great features such as the covered side and aft decks, the full beam owner’s suite and the spectacular open salon and pilothouse arrangement combine to make it a great destination place where family and friends can join together for some great cruising and relaxation.

Project: Hampton 590 Endurance

Hampton present the project of its 590 Endurance, which is a design to Howard Apollonio and his famed semi-displacement hulls.  The 590 is the entry level to the Endurance range which spans up to 87 feet, and third smallest in size in the Hampton model offer. The living of the 590 Endurance offers a split level area, with an entrance featuring a relaxing area, and a three step up part having the galley, dinette and a central helm which is available with a single or twin seats. Below is three cabins with owners room to midships, VIP to fore, and double guest cabin to star-board. An option exists for the owners stateroom to have the shower head located to port side or to aft of the cabin, with this last option also adding a walk-in wardrobe and more space to the cabin.  Standard power is twin Cats 705hp with optional 873 engines being available.

New Model: Hampton 640 Endurance

Built in China but originally founded in Taiwan, Hampton yachts is an interesting boat builder. In recent years it introduced the Endurance line an American looking inspired yacht with the help from famous hull architect Howard Apollonio.  For this line Apollonio improved on his Split chines design and created the Hampton Hybrid Hull. This underwater shape improves hull speed before the planning hump, also possible thanks to the very central of gravity in the Hampton models. The Hampton 640 Endurance offers a traditional style accommodation layout for this size of yacht with a living on the main deck in a split level area, and three double cabins located below. Owners cabin is a full beam amidships, while the VIP cabin to fore and guest double to port side share a shower head located to starboard. The 640 Endurance also features a sky-lounge option for the lower deck which replaces the inside lower helm station for a larger dinette. Power is twin Cat 705hp engines with line shaft propulsion.
