Web: GTMM New Web Site

GTMM presents its new world wide Web show room. Founded in 2010 by Giovanni Theodoli the company has roots coming from the status symbol and highly respected Magnum Marine stable. Giovanni is indeed the son of the current since 1976 Magnum owner, and has worked in the legendary company since 1990 first in the electrical department, then doing sea trials, quality control, and last as customer relations. After many years building bigger Magnums his attention turned to the roots of the brand, which will be the aim of GTMM. Giovanni is helped by Scott V.Smith also a Magnum employer from 1999 till 2010, and prior to this working with Cigarette for fourteen years, and winning two offshore powerboats World Championships in 1982 and 1998. GTMM current range offers two performance models 27, and 39.  Interesting to note that Giovanni keeps the Magnum philosophy building his models to order and semi custom. The GTMM web site takes you around with the following buttons; Models, About Us, News Blog, Digital Media, and Contact Us.  GTMM is also on Social Media with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Youtube pages links located in the Contact Us page.

Project: GTMM 27

As we have said in the past GTMM is a young US company venturing on its first models currently in advanced building stages, the 27 and 39.  We have shown you the 39 in the past now we show you the rendering of the entry level 27.  Although recently founded GTMM is a company with a lot of heritage and this particular new 27 model carries much of these roots.  The GTMM 27 in particular is based below waterline on the old legendary Magnum 27 deep Vee 24 degrees deadrise hull.  The GTMM 27 will be very custom to what regards its cabin, upholstery fittings, and hull color design.  So far no cabin details are announced but I do imagine the usual power sports boat cuddy layout with V-berth, and a medium sized shower head and galley upon entrance.  Power is Mercury racing from 525 up to 850hp with racng single propeller stern drive.  Estimated top speeds are 70 knots plus.

Project: GTMM 39

GTMM is a new company with a lot of heritage onto its shoulders, as the initials stand for Giovanni Theodoli Magnum Marine.  With this new company the young Theodoli takes a bit of Magnum back to its roots, and return to the original powerboat start as Don Aronow founded it back then in 1964.  At first GTMM had to do the revisit of the old Magmum 27, but with this 39, and a 38 also in project stages will we see more coming from the brand.  The GTMM 39 will feature an aggressive two step all powerboat hull, and a close canopy competition Evolution style version will also be available.  It would be nice to see a GTMM race in a very competitive race format if this will be provided again. As so far there seems to be no real Endurance Powerboat championship going on.  GTMM is not saying much for the inside layout of the standard production version of the 39, but they did advise that all models are all very customizable to client requests.  Power options start from twin 535 up to 1300hp, from Mercury Racing, and diesel choices from Cummins and Yanmar.  Propulsion is stern drives.
