Web: Drettmann New Web Site

Drettmann Group presents its new website. Founded in 1970 Drettmann started in a garage with Traute and Dierk Drettman selling used boats.  The growth went on and at a later stage a dealership for Dutch steel cruisers was set up.  In 1989 son Albert joins the company followed by the entrance of his wife Claudia.  This marks an important step as in 1993 Drettmann takes European dealership for Taiwan boat builder Horizon. The first year saw seven yachts in construction. In 1994 comes an another important step with Drettmann presenting its exclusive Horizon Elegance range. In 2006 Drettmann opened a modern service yacht facility in Bremen-Hemelinger on the river Weser. Today Drettmann is concentrating on its own branded yachts.  So far four projects have been presented the 32m of the Motor Yacht, and three for the Explorer Yachts line; 27m, 32m, and 37m. Drettmann new website is available in English and German language and takes you around with the following buttons; Home, Motor Yachts, Explorer Yachts, Brokerage, Company, Service, Events, and Press Releases.

Project: Drettmann 32 m

Drettmann returns to the market with a new line of yachts.  For those not in the loop Drettmann was distributor for the Horizon yachts, and also the creators of the Elegance lines as build by the Taiwan builder to their specifications for nearly two decades.  Drettmann has announced that it will build two lines of yachts Motor and Explorer.  This project here is the 32 m of the Motor Yachts line designed outside by renowned British designer Tony Castro.  As the above rendering shows the 32 m will be a triple deck super yacht with a semi wide body main deck.  The 32 m will feature the latest in opening balconies on the main deck, and a bathing platform which extends not only to aft but also in the sides to become a large beach area.  Standard interior accommodation is for a five double guest cabins plans with an owners stateroom located on the main deck to fore.  Crew accommodation is for four persons in 3 cabins.  A tank tested planning hull will allow for speeds up to 28 knots, thanks to twin 2640hp MTU engines.
