Project: Carver C34 Coupe

Carver presents an all new entry level C34 Coupe project.  Designed for a new generation of boaters, the new C34 continues the design ethos of the C-series as introduced in 2014 which has been so succesful to Carver. The Carver C34 offers a typical layout for an enclosed hard top sport cruiser in Coupe style; living and dinette on the main deck, with a lower deck in this case reserved for an open plan layout offering a double berth forward, a L-shaped lounger, and a shower head to starboard side.  Power for the Carcer C34 Coupe will come from Mercury inboard in petrol gas 250hp or 300hp choices, or 260hp diesel choices.  Propulsion is standard for stern drive but line shaft option seems to be available.

Project: Carver C50 Command Bridge

It's been an interesting design evolution for Carver since the builder launched the contemporary looking C34.  Some models make a design turn around for a builder, and the C34 when launched in 2013 did just that for Carver.  Since then the range has all become similar in looks to this break through model, with the five models all representing a further next evolution to the C series. The latest new C50 Command Bridge from Carver is a spacious yacht with a large three double cabin interior.  Apart the spaciousness, the C50 also impresses for its layout, see private entrance to the full beam owners cabin. It also impresses even more when one sees the dimensions of the C50 Command Bridge, short of fifteen meters in length, and less to five meters in beam. Power options are also versatile starting from small standard 480hp, to optional 600 and 715hp Cummins engines.

New Model: Carver C37

Carver label its new C37 as the most spacious and comfortable eleven meters currently available on the market. As expected the Carver C37 follows the design which was introduced with C34 a couple years ago, and which since has had a huge impact on the famous North American marquee. The C37 as the smaller C34 is also an all season boat, featuring a fully enclosed hard top which makes rainy days a cozy experience inside. The C37 follows Carver latest ideas in making best use of length thanks to a very full bow, a long water-line, and a very wide beam for it size, usually found in boats more or less one meter longer. Inside the Carver offers a four plus two accommodation plan, with two cabins below deck, and an extra double berth coming from the convertible saloon on the main deck. A shower head is located in between the cabins, and the galley is on the main deck to starboard. Power choices are a standard Mercruiser 320hp petrol gas, and optional Volvo 300hp units. Project: Carver C37

Carver present the C37 Coupe project, what is a new model based on the well received C34 but features an exterior with younger sportier looks of a hard top sport cruiser. The C37 just as its smaller sister and which it shares hull and most design features offers a very wide four centimeters short to four meters beam. This presents an interesting accommodation with two separate cabins plus a shower head below; of which to fore is the owners room. The main deck is fully dedicated to the living, this offering C-shaped dinette to port side with galley opposite. A helm station with two chairs is located to starboard. One of the like features is the single level main deck from aft cockpit to the inside of the saloon. Other nice conveniences in this model are the integrated tender hauling capable bathing platform, and safe side deck passage thanks to full protective railing all around.

New Model: Carver C40

After the good receiving of the C34, Carver engages the market fast with a similar looking six feet larger sister.  As the smaller C34 the new C40 follows the very good looks of its sibling, with a high free-board making the flybridge looking very low profile.  The new Carver C series looks seem to be an optimal mix of European and classic US style elements.  Distinct looking features of both the C models is the sweeping sheer-line and the very full near to vertical bow.  The C40 will feature an accommodation with four berths in two cabins, with an owners room to fore and two shower heads.  An extra double berth is to be available in the saloon from the convertible dinette.  The galley is located on the main deck to port side. As is standard for American builders an option will exist for the main deck to feature an optional lower helm. When this is chosen a little of space will be taken from the C-shaped settee. Carver New Web Site

Carver yachts from the US presents its new virtual World wide web showroom.  Carver started off in 1954 with Charlie Carter and George Verhagen beginning to build mahogany planked high speed runabouts.  In 1956 the two boat builders move to Pulaski, Wisconsin expanding the line up also to include larger cabin cruisers.  Carver switched to fiberglass construction in 1970 starting up with the successful run of the 32 Mariner model.  Carver expanded significantly in the US and Great Lakes area in the eighties, which was followed by uprising sales in the rest of the World.  In 1991 Carver was acquired by the Genmar Group.  Carver made numerous technical breakups in the nineties, one also of being among the first builders to use frame less windows on its cruisers.  In 2000 the largest Carver 57 Voyager Pilothouse was built.  In 2003 Carver and its parent Genmar company bought boat building facilities in Fano along with the Mochi 19 Sonic moulds and re branded this model as the Nuvari 63.  These will later be sold to Dominator, but this actually started the collaboration with Italian designers Nuvolari Lenard, and the Marquis brand creation also in 2003.  Currently Carver builds five models which start with the early 2013 launched C34 up to the 54 Voyager flagship, while its latest model is the just presented C40.  Carver Yachts new website takes you around with the following buttons; Home, Company, Yachts, Dealer, Service, Forum, Video, Clothing, and Contact.  The new web site also features links to the companies social hubs; Facebook, Forum, and Youtube page.

Project: Carver C40

New for the fall of 2013, is the Carver C40 a smart flybridge cruiser which rightly so follows on the footsteps of the C34 in the looks department.  Offering a two double cabins layout below, the C40 as shown previously with its small C34 sister manages to create a nice mix of modern lines, with a classic vibe to them, making it one of the looking Carver's in some time.  Some interesting details are the flash fore deck, built in stairway from the aft deck to the flybridge, fully opening patio door creating a nice one level area between outside and inside, and a living located on the main deck with below fully dedicated to the twin cabins.  An option also exist to have a lower helm station, this making boating viable all year round or when it is raining.  Interesting the lower helm option does not eat any space from the C-shape dinette from the standard layout so it is definitely a bonus to have. Power is standard twin 306 or optional 380hp Cummins engines with V-drive line shaft propulsion.

New Model: Carver C34

A much awaited new Carver in my books, and also an interesting offer for customers looking in the ten meter flybridge motor cruiser segment, this is the C34.  One of the most interesting themes of this new Carver C34 is for sure the very European looks which also shows how this kind of style has become a World affair in recent years for flybridge cruisers and yachts.  Accommodation wise the Carver C34 offers an interesting plan with two cabins sleeping four; owners cabin to forward, and a twin berth guest cabin to starboard side at midships.  Extra two berths which bring the total to six are found in the convertible dinette which becomes an extra double bed.  The galley is located at the main deck and is in L-shaped form with the lower helm choice, or a bit larger in C-shape if one does not want the interior pilot station.  Other interesting spacious themes are the flybridge with a small sunpad to aft, and a well spaced C-shaped settee to port side opposite of the upper helm station.  Engines are a standard twin Mercruiser 300hp petrol gas, and a diesel option from Volvo with the same output.  Unlike most recent new offers the C34 goes to the tried and tested line shafts propulsion with a V-drive system which while adds a bit more to consumption can find the favour of experienced buyers due to known reliable this system brings.

Project: Carver 34 Fly

A very interesting flybridge motor cruiser project, this is in short the new Carver 34 Fly, set to be unveiled by the end of this year.  Having a length over all of just under eleven meters this project from Carver seems to offer incredible spaces, and is also well though out for cruising.  Good fuel capacity just short of one thousand liters, and nice living area with galley up features are definitely things to like.  Two twin cabins; owners to fore and guest to starboard, and a separate spacious shower head to port are located below deck.  The 34 also offers a well though out flybridge, which is also quite spacious with a helm to starboard, C-shaped dinette to port, and sun pad to aft.  There is also choice for what regards a lower helm or not, and convertible C-shaped saloon for two extra berths.  Carver has so far not communicated much about engines and propulsion so for this we have to wait till launch.

Project: Carver 36 Mariner

Carver yachts has always been into making these hybrid looking sport bridge cruiser which makes maximum use of beam inside in a wide body feature, and the 36 Mariner keeps this heritage coming. Do you remember the nineties Santego series?  The 36 Mariner features a clever single level living main deck inside offering a relaxing L-shaped sofa, dining table, and galley.  Below to fore is a roomy owners double with en-suite head facilities.  Another nice feature of the 36 Mariner which comes from larger boats is also the forward settee located on the fore deck, something not seen much in modern cruisers of this size.  The aft deck of the 36 Mariner is left free, but the sun deck area where the helm is located features three bench settees, with a table in the middle.  Power is from four choices from Crusader, Yanmar, and Volvo from 200 up to 375hp in petrol gasoline or diesel power.  The twin Yanmar 315hp is the diesel option.

New Model: Carver 54 Voyager

Carver presents the 54 Voyager a flybridge motor yacht of American concept but having the European influence in the looks. The yacht's eye catching profile is configured as a true pilot house, incorporating a spacious fly bridge, lower helm choice, and highly functional split level salon which joins with the aft cockpit in a logical symmetry.  There is also an interior stair case from the saloon to the flybridge. Down below the Carver 54 Voyager sleeps six in three separate cabins; owners stateroom to midships, VIP to fore, and bunk twin guest room to port side.  The owners room is a full beam affair, with en-suite shower head.  A second guest shower head services the guests.   Power is from Volvo or Cat engines from 500 up 575hp, with traditional reliable line shaft propulsion.  A worth note is the considerable fuel capacity of 3000 liters, which with not so big engines should give a good range for a planning motor yacht of seventeen meters in size.
