Project: Carnevali 38

Carnevali from Ravenna, Italy has always been a builder with high attention to the impulse of the market, and this new 38 flybridge motor cruiser is a project showing this.  Low fuel consumption, size at around ten meters, and spaces of a much bigger boat.  Designed in house, for its size the Carnevali 38 surprises for its rather big flybridge.  Two cabins sleeping four, one shower head, and an extra convertible dinette on the main deck will be the interior accommodation plan.  Power is from Volvo stern drives with 220hp engines, with Carnevali estimating an optimistic 31 knots top speed with these units.

Project: Carnevali C170

Carnevali presents its new C170 project.  A flybridge motor yacht which will sit nicely between the 2010 launched C180, and the long standing 160 an evolution of the 155 launched in the fall of 1999.  So far little details are being shown of this model but exterior looks are similar to the just presented 142 model.  The 170 is to be designed by designer Davide Cipriani from Centro Stile.  The 170 will also offer an innovative stern aft deck layout which opens and transforms to make the aft become one part with the bathing platform and a terrace on the sea.

New Model: Carnevali 142

Carnevali continues its journey in presenting very valid well build products which are made for people who live and navigate the sea.  The Carnevali 142 is indeed a huge challenge to all builders, from finishing to ride and quality construction and is a yacht made to be enjoyed and lived.  Designed by Ceccarelli Yacht Design, who is a long collaborator of this family run company, this model will sit between the 130 and 160 replacing the moderately sold 145, and Carnevali hope to repeat the success of the 42 series, delivered in over fifty units in a period of ten years plus production.  The 142 is most of all good looking outside, but Ceccarelli made well of his talents to offer a comfortable three double cabins interior with owners room to fore and two guest cabins located to midships.  A crew cabin is also available to aft.  The main deck is the living area of the 142 offering here a well laid spacious galley, saloon, and helm station located to port side.  Hull one was fitted with Zebrano wood but Carnevali have always shown customization in its model so in the feature I would not be surprised to see a different interior woods used, and also a different plan inside.  Carnevali flybridge are also known for being spacious and the 142 is no exception showing space in an aft C-shaped settee, and sun pad to the forward part by the helm located to port side. Power is from twin Cat 575hp which give a top speed of 33 knots, and 27 of cruise.

Project: Carnevali 142

Carnevali presents its next upcoming project with the design renderings of the new 142. This new model relocates itself in an important role for the Italian builder and takes a lot from the exterior lines of the just launched 180 model. Long standing Carnevali designer Ceccarelli introduced new forms and functions with the 180, set to be followed in the 145 replacement here, the 142. Unlike the 180 the second in size 142 with these renderings takes a more aggressive profile with air intakes aft, or the silhouetted integrated radar arch which does not disturb space above and creates sporty lines calling open hard top looks from the distance. The grey color above also adds to the aggressiveness of the concept, now is to see if Carnevali will offer it in this color. Interior plans have not been issued yet but accept a minimum of two available choices as the usual from the Ravenna based builder, with two or three cabin family orientated layouts.

Project: Carnvevali 180

The Carnevali line of stylish flybridge cruisers, welcomes the addition of the new 180 motor yacht filling the gap in the line between the 160 and 68 models. The project of the new Carnevali has been trusted again to architect Ceccarelli, who designed a modern looking stylish flybridge yacht to the Italian builder. Ceccarelli and Carnevali presents us with an 18 metre motor yacht with an aggressive sporty profile for the upper coach roof, wide side decks for a safe passage way forward and a deep vee shaped variable geometry bottom for comfortable navigation comfort in rough sea conditions. Another area of high importance for the builder in this new project was it's weight distribution, with the location of the engines and fuel tanks in a central position, guaranteeing perfect balance with full or light loaded tanks. Accommodation is a 3 double cabin interior, with all cabins featuring there own private head. While Carnevali says the new 180 can be single handled a double fully equipped crew cabin is located aft.
