Improve-it = Cantiere Delle Marche Nauta Air 108

Cantieri delle Marche has recently sold the second unit for a Nauta Air 108 model, and what would be the sixth unit of the Mario Pedol and Massimo Gino Nauta studio from Milan Italy, designed semi-custom series.  The Nauta Air series debuted in 2014 with two 90 models launched in that same year, and was followed with a 108 in 2016, and then a 111 a year later, and a 110 in 2019, with these last two units being both extended custom units born from the 108 platform. An evolved model within the Nauta Air series, this new 108 features subtle enhancements and modernized exterior lines for a truly captivating and contemporary appearance. Among the main differences with the previous Nauta Air 108, the fashion plates are visually integrated with the dark windows that run along the Main deck salon and a six meters tender with its crane are located on the main deck forward. Her interiors are bright and airy, and the generous hull volume allows for spacious lodging for the Owners and their guests. Accommodation is split between the Main deck master and four spacious cabins below decks, but guests are likely to spend most of their time either in the cockpit, with its uninterrupted views aft, or on the sprawling Sun deck. Night quarters for five crew members are on the lower deck and the Captain cabin is adjacent the wheelhouse on the Upper deck.  Hull number two of the Nauta Air 108 is to be powered by twin 715hp Cat engines for top speeds up to thirteen knots, a cruise of twelve, and up to 5500 nautical miles of range at nine knots.

New Model: Cantiere Delle Marche RJ 115

Cantiere delle Marche has launched the first RJ 115 model, titled m/y Stellamar this is the second RJ series following the 130 launched in 2021.  The RJ series stems from a fruitful collaboration between the yard’s team and the talented Francesco Paszkowski who has developed a successful series of contemporary modern explorer yachts with an RJ 130 delivered and two more RJ 115 and RJ 155 in the pipeline, this commissioned by the owner of ,/y Stellamar.  Needless to add that this represents an attestation of trust for Cantiere delle Marche and provides a further reference within the yachting community. All models in the RJ line share a strong personality characterized by extremely well-balanced volumes and proportions throughout the design, as well as those characterizing features as, for example the invisible crane.  The RJ 115 project pays respect to the most exquisite yacht design tradition while implementing it with highly sophisticated design solutions. An extensive use of glass in the bulwarks and the open stern enhance the visual continuity with the surrounding environment. RJ 115 profile is tense yet it encompasses sensuous lines that add an unrivalled elegance to her exterior design. With this project, Francesco Paszkowski shows that medium size dimensions are not the enemy of creativity as they make it more effective. Paszkowski succeeded in providing the 35m super yacht with large spaces and luxury amenities while staying true to her explorer yacht’s soul, a peculiarity which sets Cantiere delle Marche from the other players in the super yacht industry.  The RJ 115 is an elegant yet robust, reliable, environment friendly, long range explorer super yacht with unrivalled technical equipment that allow her Owner, family and friends to enjoy safe journeys to the most remote and secluded areas of the globe. For all technical aspects, CdM has drawn not only on the expertise of its in-house design and engineering department but also that of long-standing partner Hydro Tec entrusted for the naval architecture.  The interior layout of this first RJ 115 was tailored to the Owner family’s specific needs and provides ensuite accommodation for eight guests in four lower deck cabins, and a master stateroom on the main deck forward. A crew of seven has their quarters on the Lower deck in three cabins while the Captain’s is next to the wheelhouse on the Upper deck.  A cleverly designed layout offers easy circulation and a functional connection between the decks with all exterior stairs located on the port side and large side walkways. Great emphasis has been given to outdoor areas with large lounging/dining areas on all decks. Yet, should you have enough of sun and wind, when you enter the Main or Upper salon you don’t lose contact with the outdoors as vast windows light the rooms while visually connecting them to the sea beyond.  On the Lower deck you realize that natural light and views are not reserved solely to the upper decks as all four guest cabins on the Lower deck, two Vip and two twin cabins, are indeed bright and airy thanks to large windows.  The yacht’s interior design and decoration are easy on the eye and shapes remain just as soft as the neutral colour palette. Textures of both wood and fabrics also play a central role by echoing materials found in nature. The interior decoration of Stellamar, in its entirety, work in harmony creating warm and welcoming environments. An extensive use of bright natural oak for flooring and ceilings and cream leather wall panelling gives the interior a soothing atmosphere throughout the yacht, in both social and private areas. Paszkowski designed all fixed furniture and chose, together with the Owners, most of the loose furniture and accessories by renowned manufacturers such as the Arpège Meridienne sofas by Christian Liaigre for the lounging area in the Main Salon, the Poliform Saint Germain sofa in the Skylounge, armchairs Archibald by Poltrona Frau, Cassina Hola chairs in the dining area whose table boasts a beautiful Breccia Aurora marble top. All bathrooms share the same bright and relaxing mood thanks to matt white statuary marble coupled to natural oak. The shower stall in the Owner’s bath is equipped with infra-red sauna and hammam.  The RJ 115 is a full-displacement explorer vessel with steel hull and aluminium superstructure. and powered by twin heavy-duty Caterpillar 724hp each  allows for range of around 5500nm at an economic speed of nine knots.

Project: Cantiere Delle Marche RJ 155

Cantiere delle Marche is proud to announce the sale of RJ 155, a super explorer yacht to a repeat client. At 47 meters in length RJ 155 is to be the largest yacht to come so far for the Ancona based shipyard, which has become in less to a decade the first address to look in explorer super yachts from 25 to fifty meters in size.  A pure-bred explorer,  RJ 155 belongs to the fortunate RJ series of which already five units have been sold. Despite her elegant line she encompasses all characteristics of an oceangoing explorer yacht: robustness, seaworthiness, long range, generous interior areas for both guests and crew, plenty of storage spaces, fridges and freezers, high-end equipment.  With a robust steel hull and aluminium superstructure, RJ 155’s exterior lines bring the signature of Francesco Paszkowski who penned the entire series. Her interior design will be developed by Achille Salvagni who has been entrusted to design also most of the interior loose furniture. RJ 155 will be indeed a truly custom made yacht where the brilliant minds of these two multi awarded designers will prove once again Cantiere delle Marche to be the absolute leader in building the best and more beautiful Explorer vessels under 499 gross tonnage worldwide.  Her strongly sporty yet sleek appearance was achieved by Paszkowski combining the volume with proportions fluidity. The elongated overhangs of both Sun and Upper deck gives elegance to the profile while allowing the particularly large stern terraces to be almost entirely shaded so that ample veranda-like areas create a seamless connection between the interior of the yacht and its surroundings.  RJ 155 beauty doesn’t lie exclusively in aesthetics: with naval architecture by Sergio Cutolo of Hydro Tec ensuring seaworthiness, comfort and utmost efficiency. She will have a displacement of around 460 tons while the Gross Tonnage remains below 500. Stability will be granted by two couples of top performing electric stabilizers while vibrations produced by rotating machineries will be reduced drastically with the adoption of external thrust bearings.  RJ 155 is to be powered from twin 1200hp Caterpillar which will give a top speed of fifteen knots. Combined with fuel tanks of 65000 litres, RJ 155 as all expedition yachts built by Cantiere delle Marche, will have a remarkable range of above 5000 nautical miles at nine knots cruise. Spread across three decks plus a very large Sundeck, RJ 155 will accommodate up to twelve guests in five suites, four of which are on the lower deck amidships while the Owner suite is located on the main deck forward. The owners asked to have a large and super equipped gym by their apartment room. Extraordinary large outdoor areas entirely dedicated to relaxing and enjoying life en plein air are on both the main and upper deck stern section. Tenders are stored on the upper deck forward while an array of toys such as SUP, electric scooters, bikes, diving equipment are stored in the large lazarette accessed from the swimming platform, a signature feature on Marche's yachts since its beginning.  As is customary on all explorer yachts by CDM, RJ 155 will feature a textbook engine room with adjoining control room.

Project: Cantiere delle Marche Acciaio 130

With an order book entering into 2026, Cantiere delle Marche success does not want to stop with a new explorer super yacht an Acciaio 130 being sold. Acciaio 130 is the third unit and the largest of the Metal series, translation from Acciaio semi-custom series with the previous two being the 105 Gatto and 123 Astrum, and comes from a design and naval architecture by Sergio Cutolo/Hydro Tec. Cantiere delle Marche Acciaio 130 features an imposing and flared bow to intercept high seas with the sheer line that smoothly flows down creating a sophisticated yachting style. This flowing feature is replicated in the fashion plates that effortlessly glide to the main, upper and sun deck from above framing signature strip windows. The yacht will often sail at high latitudes for both exploration and fishing expeditions. To enjoy fully long and challenging fishing trips, the Owner asked to have the yacht designed with a fishing cockpit, a stern platform enclosed within high bulwark, and all fishing equipment will be stored in a large lazarette. The layout has been designed to meet the Owner way of living on board: there will be two Owner staterooms, one on the Main deck forward and a second full beam suite on the Lower deck amidships. Two guest cabins will be available on the Lower deck. Among the Acciaio 130’s layout peculiarities worth mentioning is a thirty square meters gym on the Upper deck and a sky-lounge on the Sun deck to enjoy the view while comfortable sitting inside. At just over 39 meters, with a beam of eight meters and a displacement of around 388 tons Acciaio 130 has an extremely efficient hull with bulbous bow to keep fuel consumption to the lowest levels while granting an extraordinary range. Two Caterpillar 715hp engine will give a top speed of thirteen knots, and a range at ten knots, of above 5000nm.

New Launch: Cantiere delle Marche 43m Custom

Cantiere Delle Marche is delighted to announce that the full custom 43-metre explorer yacht, named m/y Acala has been successfully launched. A pure custom yacht this 43m shows CDM experience and its approach to explorer yacht building. 43m Custom has been commissioned by an experienced yachtsman who, over the years, owned yachts built by shipyards such as Feadship, Lürssen, Blohm and Voss. He is a repeat client for CDM, a yard which gained his full confidence having enjoyed the feel of comfort and safety of his previous Cantiere delle Marche Darwin 102, cruising in the Med but also sailing the expanses of the Pacific Ocean, the Atlantic and reaching the wild beauty of remote destinations and the best diving spots in the world. Cantiere delle Marche 43m Custom also inaugurates a new collaboration with Horacio Bozzo Design who designed her conspicuous and eye- catching lines. Her severe profile with a raked bow and compact superstructure captures the very soul of an explorer vessel combining it with the elegance of a luxury yacht that will stand the test of time. Large windows on the main deck whose mullions seem not to join the superstructure are undoubtedly a profile’s signature features. All shapes, volumes and lines compose a harmonious geometry while her roomy body encompasses luxury social areas and very large and comfortable crew quarters, as requested by the owner whose plans include long term cruising to reach the farthest corners of the world. Guest areas are spread over three decks plus a sun deck. Cantiere delle Marche 43m features a nicely organized interior layout that sleeps twelve guests in six suites. A large lobby sits in between the main salon and guest night quarters. The full beam main deck, from amidships forward is dedicated to guests and owners. Three large Vip and extremely comfortable owner suite to starboard side are flooded by natural light from large windows. Two twin cabins are located on the lower deck. An intimate salon on the main deck and a large panoramic sky lounge on the upper deck with dining area have been designed and decorated for indoor relaxation and entertainment. A particularly large cockpit features dining and lounging areas, a swimming pool and lots of space to relax. A large and partially shaded sun deck perfectly integrated into the profile provides the social hub for the guests with an al fresco dining, bar, vast sunbathing area alongside a second swimming pool. A dumbwaiter connects the galley located on the lower deck to all deck, sun deck included, to convey food and drinks and ease the work of crew. Cantiere delle Marche 43m Custom interior design by Mexican architect Simon Hamui is luxurious and relaxed at the same time. It means that it offers the possibility to feel at ease with both beach clothing or formally dressed for a dinner. 43m Custom has a full displacement naval architecture by Sergio Cutolo Hydro Tec offering large volumes in a 440GT and the smoothest of travel even in rough seas ensuring excellent comfort and total safety. Engineering has been developed by the yard technical department in collaboration with Hydro Tec. Needless to add that she, like all explorer yachts built by Cantiere delle Marche, features a thick and robust steel hull and light aluminium superstructure. With a total length of 43 metres and thanks to a hull geometry her twin Caterpillar 1014hp engines will give a range of above five thousand nautical at ten knots and a top speed of forteen knots. The yacht’s engine room,, as all engine rooms built by CDM, is a showpiece that stands out for its cleanliness and functionality with all the yacht’s systems and machineries set up to accommodate easy maintenance. CDM is a pure breed explorer therefore she needs a high level of independence. The engine room is one of the sources of that independence as its redundant equipment allow to sail far and wide and to reach remote areas of the globe where it is impossible to access any sort of assistance. An expansive lazarette provides a very large storage area needed for many cruising necessities, water toys, diving equipment, etc. The main tender is stored on the upper deck forward. Crew quarters and service areas are functional and well-appointed, as requested by the owner. Five cabins are on the lower deck alongside a roomy crew mess opposite a professional galley and the captain has his own cabin on the Upper deck next to the wheelhouse.

New Model: Cantiere Delle Marche Darwin 106

Cantiere delle Marche has launched its first Darwin 106 model, named m/y Uptight she has been designed to fulfil her owner desire to have a reliable and comfortable explorer super yacht to enjoy months long fishing expeditions in remote and uncontaminated seas. The owners family owns a few fisherman yachts and they wanted to add a slow, displacement explorer vessel to enjoy long expeditions from the moment the yacht leaves the quay to the final destination. Fast trip to fishing spots and adrenaline fishing activities will be held by using the yacht’s large ‘tender’, which is an American Fisherman that will be towed during long trips. The new Darwin 106 is based on the naval platform of the 102, designed, engineered and modified by Sergio Cutolo of Hydro Tec to match her owner requests. For its layout and technical characteristics Darwin 106 meets American standards, according to her Owner’s wishes the yacht features a specifically designed layout with a country kitchen which opens onto the main salon giving the whole environment an informal atmosphere and, instead of a sky-lounge, the Upper Deck hosts a panoramic Owner Stateroom. The most peculiar feature of Darwin 106 is the aft cockpit fitted as that to a sportfisherman. The stern platform has been transformed into an enclosed cockpit with a bulwark. A ‘battle station’ has been centrally placed in the cockpit, and fishing will be carried in ‘stand up’ position allowing multiple strikes to be managed at the same time, giving more fun to the ‘fishing family’. Screw-less rod holders, have been placed on the large teak cap-rail around the cockpit, all equipped with drainages and an easy access for periodic maintenance. Many lockers holding tackle boxes are encompassed into the fishing cockpit bulwarks while flush floor tanks with water recirculation and pump for live fish bait are located on the transom and below the cockpit floor. The adjoining lazarette is arranged cohesively with the fishing activities and include a small yet fully equipped workshop. A double Eskimo ice maker with both salt and fresh water is in the main cockpit alongside a few freezers located beneath the sofa. In order to increase the range also in terms of food loading capacity, the storage space has been improved and optimized for long term food conservation. An outstanding interior layout makes the most out of the 255GT of the Darwin 106. The interior, decorated by Francesco Guida, features a large and welcoming main salon with lounging and dining areas in direct connection with the galley located to port side. Three crew cabins are located on the main deck forward alongside a crew mess. Five guest cabins; two double, a large Vip and two twins are on the lower deck. The Owner stateroom open onto the upper deck stern terrace. On the same deck there is a roomy and well-appointed wheelhouse. A large Sun deck, equipped with all amenities to spend hours enplein air, tops the yacht’s nicely shaped superstructure. Darwin 106 displacement hull is fitted with twin Cats 670hp engines which deliver a top speed of thirteen knots, and a remarkable range of above 4700 nautical miles at nine knots.

Project: Cantiere delle Marche Exp 42

Cantiere delle Marche continues riding its success and confirm the sale for a new Exp 42 unit to a repeat Central American client.  Designed by Francesco Paszkowski the Exp 42, will use Cantiere delle Marche 42 meter custom platform and feature some unique project details for a yacht this size.  Some of the unique features will be having the four guest cabins on the main deck, while the lower deck will be for the most part dedicated to the crew quarters.  For a Paszkowski design this new Cantiere delle Marche Exp 42 will feature a more vertical elaborate design.

Project: Cantiere delle Marche Flexplorer 142

Cantiere delle Marche is glad to announce the sale of another yacht of the Flexplorer line: a Flexplorer 142 has been sold to a young and enthusiast German owner, a keen sailor, who has previously owned several sailing and motor yachts. The Hydro Tec bold exterior design will be completed with refined interiors by Francesco Paszkowski and Margherita Casprini. The owner’s wishes and lifestyle match with Paszkowski’s approach and impeccable poise and the yacht will feature top-end characteristics in terms of functionality and style. As the Flexplorer 130 Aurelia, the 142 features an asymmetrical layout on the main deck. The asymmetry consists in a full beam configuration to starboard which adds square metres to the salon while leaving a useful passageway to port side. For the records, the asymmetrical layout is not something invented in these last years: it actually made its first appearance on Camaleon B a 43m custom yacht designed by Paolo Caliari and his ‘pupil’ Sergio Cutolo in 2002, followed by 53m Leo Fun and Vinydrea. The owner and his family have great plans to fully enjoy their new yacht: they will be firstly exploring many destinations around the Med, after which eventually they will be heading to the Northern latitudes to cross the Northwest Passage. The Passage has been a byword for mystery and endeavour but in recent decades the ice cover retreated and during just a few weeks in Summer it became possible to pass through. The crossing, however, still bears the risk to run into ice floes and a very robust hull is highly recommended. This is why the Flexplorer 142 hull will feature, among other technical upgrades an ice-belt of 22mm steel plates 400 mm above and below the waterline.  Flexplorer 142 will also feature other special features from the A-frame crane that when not used fits flush in the deck and is unseen,  collapsible bulwarks that extend to the further reach of the cockpit, two spaces for two eight meter special tenders on the aft deck, and Infinity pool on the transom.  Cantiere delle Marche Flexplorer 142 will feature six guest cabins, including two owner stateroom one on the forward part of the main deck, and another on the upper deck.  Flexplorer 142 is to be powered by twin MTU 1200hp which give her a top speed up to fourteen knots and a range up to five thousand nautical miles.

New Model: Cantiere Delle Marche Flexplorer 40m

Cantiere delle Marche has launched its first Flexplorer 40m, titled M/Y Aurelia this is an explorer super yacht designed by Sergio Cutolo and as the title says with flexibility of usage in mind.  In ten years time Cantiere delle Marche from an unknown new name, shaped itself as the shop for custom explorer super yachts.  What is a fact is that the Cantiere delle Marche success was widely imagined by its management and how it evolved the type explorer super yacht into various versions starting with the rugged looking Darwin, and into the first evolution that is the Nauta Air without forgetting the sea-ability and toughness in each yacht build.  This new Flexplorer 40m characterises itself for the novelty of the A-frame crane which when not in use hides itself into the deck.  But the other novelty for Cantiere delle Marche Flexplorer 40m is the collapsing bulwarks which increase deck space to 115 square meters.  The interior designed by Francesco Paszkowski and as per owner wishes is of a four double cabins layout, with an owner apartment style stateroom forward on the main deck, and three guest cabins on the main deck.  Crew accommodation is for six persons in three cabins.  Flexplorer 50 m is power by twin Caterpillar 1000hp engines which allow for top speeds up 14 knots, and a cruise speed of 10 knots which allows for a range over 5000 nautical miles.

New Model: Cantiere Delle Marche Accaio 123

On a rainy September morning, a very private yet cheerful ceremony celebrated the launching of the Acciaio 123. This is the second unit in the Acciaio series built by CdM, the first being the Acciaio 105 launched in 2018. Both yachts bring the signature of Sergio Cutolo from Hydro Tec who was entrusted also for the naval architecture and engineering. Impeccably contemporary in her exterior line that elegantly clothes a robust explorer vessel body, the Acciaio 123 blinks an eye to the past with high-end, timeless and sophisticated interiors developed by Cantiere delle Marche in-house design department in conjunction with the owners.  Leveraging on CdM's experience in the construction of explorer yachts renowned for their sea-keeping and long range, the Acciaio 123 boast generous and extremely comfortable interior spaces spread on three decks plus a large sun deck to host to the highest standards, up to twelve guests in five cabins and seven crew members. For all its characteristics, the Acciaio 123 is an explorer vessel for owners to enjoy the best of ocean exploring in full safety and comfort.  The Main deck layout, with a wide-body configuration, grants extra space to all environments from amidship to forward. This means that both the galley, located to port side, and the Owners stateroom which occupies the forward section of the deck, are extremely large with the latter enjoying an extremely high level of comfort and livability for a yacht of her size.  In an age where eco-friendly attitude is becoming more important also in the yachting industry, at 37.35 metres, with a beam of 7.80m and a displacement of 320t, the Acciaio 123 has two Caterpillar engines of just 533kW each which allow for a top speed of 13 knots and a range, at 10 knots, of 5,500 nautical miles. These remarkable figures are obtained thanks to Hydro Tec full-displacement hull design featuring a smooth distribution of the lines which provides significant reduction of resistance and excellent seaworthiness.  A proper explorer, the Acciaio 123 has large storage to navigate for thousands of miles without the need for any stop for provisioning. The technical spaces are as usual CdM’s feather in the cap for the machinery and equipment, piping and cabling, and their outstanding levels of spaciousness, brightness and meticulously designed layout that allows easy handling and maintenance. Top-end machinery and redundancy in equipment are not there to make Captain and engineer’s life easier, they are testament to the yard’s core mission to make navigation of its explorers in far and remote areas of the globe as safe as possible.

Project: Cantiere Delle Marche Deep Blue 43

Cantiere delle Marche is delighted to announce the sale of Deep Blue 43 a new, fully custom 43-meter explorer yacht designed by Horacio Bozzo Design.  Deep Blue 43 is the latest addition to the yard’s significantly active order book. The contract has been signed last December and the latest project details have been defined in these last few weeks. The yacht is already under constructionist with delivery due in 2021.  A full custom build, Deep Blue 43 will take full advantage of Cantiere delle Marche’s experiences and its approach to yacht building that has proven being extremely successful and rewarding for all parts involved. Deep Blue 43 has been commissioned by an experienced Owner who, in the past years, owned yachts built by shipyards such as Feadship, Lürssen, Blohm and Voss. He is a repeat client for CdM, a yard which gained his full confidence having enjoyed the feel of comfort and safety of his Darwin 102 cruising in the Med but also sailing the expanses of the Pacific Ocean, the Atlantic and reaching the wild beauty of remote destinations and the best diving spots in the world.  The mutual trust established between this client and Cantiere delle Marche team is of extreme importance to the good result of the whole process that will lead to the completion of a complex project such as Deep Blue 43.  Deep Blue 43 inaugurates a new collaboration with a world-renowned yacht designer: her exterior lines have been designed by Horacio Bozzo Design who is based in Viareggio Italy.  Her clean, vaguely severe profile with a raked bow and compact superstructure captures the very soul of an explorer vessel combining it with the elegance of a luxury yacht that will stand the test of time. Deep Blue 43 features a nicely organized interior layout with twelve guests accommodated in six suites, four on the Main Deck and two on the Lower Deck. A cozy saloon on the Main Deck and a large panoramic sky lounge on the Upper Deck are at guests disposal to relax in comfortable and bright environments. A huge cockpit features all amenities including a large swimming pool and lots of space to relax. Deep Blue 43 interior designer is still to be disclosed.  Deep Blue 43 has a full displacement naval architecture by Sergio Cutolo Hydro Tec office, offering large volume 440 Gross Tons and the smoothest of travel even in rough seas ensuring excellent comfort and total safety. Engineering has been developed by the yard technical department in collaboration with Hydro Tec.  With a total length of 42.9 metres, a beam of 8.60m, thanks to hull geometry, large fuel tanks, and extremely frugal consumption, Deep Blue 43 will have an extraordinary range.

Project: Cantiere Delle Marche Explorer 40.22

Cantiere delle Marche is glad to announce that another contract for a one-off build has been recently signed: Explorer 40.22, a forty meter ocean-going super yacht, designed by Tommaso Spadolini with naval architecture and engineering by Hydro Tec.  Explorer 40.22 is another example of CdM’s ingenious approach to yachting. Her clean and well defined lines are undoubtedly those of a pure expedition vessel besides being cohesive to CdM's tradition. CdM's Explorer 40.22 encompasses all qualities that define a top-class explorer yacht.  First and foremost Explorer 40.22 has been designed to handle all weather conditions. Being an explorer yacht she has a very efficient, sea-kindly and sea-worthy hull form. Safety and comfort of guests and crew are at the forefront of her design. Another distinguishing feature of Explorer 40.22 comes with how far she can navigate without re-fueling. Proven high-end equipment in a large and well laid out engine room designed for ease of service by crew is another fundamental feature of Explorer 40.22.  Taking a look at both her exterior design and interior layout, it can be seen that the purpose of Explorer 40.22 is twofold. Firstly she offers comfortable cruising to her guests and secondly she allows exclusive and extended holidays 'far from the madding crowd'.  With a length overall of 42 meters and a beam of 8,50 meters, Explorer 40.22 will have a displacement at full load of approximately 400 tons. Powered by two Caterpillar C32 Acert delivering 1300hp, Explorer 40.22 will reach a top speed of 14 knots with a range of 3500nm at 10 knots

New Model: Cantiere Delle Marche 105 Acciaio

Cantiere delle Marche is proud to announce the successful launching of the Acciaio 105, christened M/Y Gatto on the 17th of May 2018. Her delivery is planned for later in the summer. Responsible for the exterior design as well as naval architecture is Hydro Tec who has given Acciaio 105 a bold yet contemporary exterior accompanied with traditional fresh interior style by Francesco Guida Design.  With this model Cantiere delle Marche proves, once more, its flexibility and knowledge of the market. Acciaio 105 is also a testimony to the excellent cooperation between all parts involved in her construction. Ultimately, CdM's team, excellent craftsmen included, proved the yard's capacity to meet an exacting brief on time.  Having experienced the behavior of the Darwin 107 Storm into a real storm wind blowing at 40 knots and more than 3-metre swells the owner was attracted by the benefits of a robust and reliable explorer hull, yet asked both yard and designers for softer and more contemporary lines. Thanks to her strong yet gentle lines, Acciaio 105 crosses indeed the ineffable border between sturdiness and robustness.  Acciaio 105's design combines beautiful lines with a contemporary flair. Private exterior decks create the perfect retreat for the guests while generous interior spaces host both social and private areas for ten guests pampered by a crew of six. The interiors designed by Francesco Guida are the result of a true collaboration among the designer, the owner and the yard as they negotiated around structural constraints to achieve the best possible result. By boldly mixing dark and bright colours and cleverly contrasting materials, Guida breathed life into M/Y Gatto's interiors.  With a transatlantic range of 4500 nm at the economic speed of 10 knots, top speed is 13 knots, which is particularly outstanding given that it is achieved with just two Caterpillar engines 670hp each relatively small engines for a yacht of her size and displacement.  Thanks to her well-engineered steel hull with bulbous bow, Acciaio 105 will ensure a smooth path through water, and will be the perfect home away from home in all sea conditions. Acciaio 105's Owner, who is extremely pleased with the outcome, is looking forward to enjoying his yacht on her maiden voyage.
