Project: Burger 180 Motor Yacht

Celebrating its 160th Anniversary in 2023 as one of the oldest and most respected shipyards in America, Burger is pleased to announce the 180 Motor Yacht currently under construction at the Manitowoc, Wisconsin shipyard. Designed by Gregory C. Marshall and the Burger design team the 180 Motor Yacht provides the ideal opportunity for an American owner to build their yacht at home, in the United States and add their custom touches to its design without the extended engineering duration typical of a yacht of this size. The Burger 180 Motor Yacht is an exciting example of Burger’s continuing creativity and features expansive interior and exterior spaces for its owner and guests, while its mechanical features are intended to make the cruising experience even more comfortable. In addition, each yacht has been designed for full handicapped accessibility, including a large elevator, providing all guests easy access to each of its four decks. The Burger 180 Motor Yacht offers guest accommodation for ten guests including of which is an owners stateroom on the forward part of the main deck, which also features an adjoining office. Crew accommodation is for thirteen persons. The Burger 180 Motor Yacht is to be powered by twin 2366hp Cat engines for a fast cruise speed of fourteen knots, and or an eleven knots four thousand nautical miles long range.  Burger has already sold the first unit of the 180 Motor Yacht with the second hull starting speculation build earlier this year.

Project: Burger 122 RPH Motor Yacht

Designed Gregory K. Marshall and the Burger design team, the Wisconsin based builder presents the project for the 122 Raised Pilot House Motor Yacht. A stately and sleek custom super yacht, the 122 RPH Motor Yacht is a semi wide body sleek looking super yacht, with a custom accommodation of ten guests in five double cabins, including of which is an owners stateroom located on the forward part of the main deck. Crew are is located on the forward part of the main deck and offers a lounge with galley and an accommodation for six, including a captains cabin with double berth.  The Burger 122 RPH also offers a tender garage aft.  A fully custom build, the Burger 122 RPH Motor Yacht is estimated to reach speeds up to 24 knots.

Web: Burger New Web Site

Burger presents its new World wide web virtual showroom. The current Burger company was founded in 1892, with the company founder Henry Branburger starting originally in 1863 building twenty to thirty feet Mackinaw fishing boats on Lake Michigan in Milwaukee following his boat building apprentice which started with Wolf and Davidson shipyard six years earlier. The company flourished in its past, building a lot of wooden vessel during the first World War for the US navy, and in 1938 building the first all welded steel 81 feet schooner. On records and up till today Burger built eighty four navy and military vessels. Burger entered the pleasure market in 1920, but a hit vessel was the still sailing 1940 build 65 Cruiser named Pilgrim, the first flush deck yacht. In 1952 Burger brought another innovation building the first aluminium boat what was a 36 feet cruiser named Virgina. Following this in 1977 will see the launch of Arara at 125 feet who at the day and for a long period was Americas largest alloy built yacht.  Burger largest build to date is the Vripack designed 2008 build 153 Tri-Deck Motor Yacht.  Burger has build yachts designed by; Sparkman and Stephens, J.B. Hargrave, C.Raymond Hunt, Don O'Keefe, Donald L Blount, Cor D. Rover and Luiz de Basto. Project: Burger 63 Sportfishing Motor Yacht

Burger present the 63 Sportfishing Motor Yacht, a concept that combines sportfish capability with a luxury yacht appointment the builder is known for, on a hull designed by renowned Dutch naval architects at Vripack. The flybridge-equipped 63 Sportfishing Motor Yacht will utilize Vripack’s Slide Hull, first patented by the Dutch yacht design house in 2016 that reportedly increases comfort in all sea conditions, improves speed, handling, and fuel efficiency.  The hull and superstructure are slated to be built of marine-grade aluminium. The concept calls for three staterooms, all en suite with retractable glass panels in the saloon and galley area. As an all-custom build, clients would have a wealth of choices for interior and exterior finishes and details. Exact specs on interior layout is also determined by client and the Burger design team.  Also unlike many Sportfish yacht of this size the Burger is standard presented with a lower helm station.  The Burger 63 Sportfishing Motor Yacht is powered by a triple Volvo 1000hp with IPS pod propulsion, which will give her estimated top speeds up to 35 knots.

Project: Burger 50 Cruiser

Continuing the success of the two Burger 48 Cruisers, the American yacht builder present a lightly updated 50 Cruiser version.  This new Burger 50 Cruiser is currently under construction and available for immediate sale. This Burger Cruiser will feature yet another stunning interior from the offices of De Basto Designs in Miami, Florida as well as Vripack's patented Slide Hull design.  The difference between the Burger 48 and 50 Cruiser seem to be an extra foot in length possibly given to the bathing platform for extra tender stowage.  Power for the Burger 50 Cruiser will come from twin Volvo 600hp with IPS pod drive propulsion which will give a top speed up to 31 knots.

New Model: Burger 48 Cruiser

The Burger 48 Cruiser is a custom fourteen meter aluminium cruiser developed in conjunction with her owner and Vripack Naval Architects in The Netherlands. Every detail of the 48 Cruiser reflects Burger's quality craftsmanship and attention to detail, as well as her owner's desires for a highly personalized yacht. Powered by twin 600hp Volvo Penta with IPS pod propulsion, the Burger 48 Cruiser incorporates Vripack's revolutionary Slide hull design. This hull provides her owner a 27 knots cruising speed and a top speed of approximately 32 knots in comfort and reduced fuel consumption.  The Burger 48 Cruiser features a Celeste Wegman Interior with two ensuite staterooms, unobstructed views in the open salon/galley area and exceptional exterior spaces for entertaining friends and family.  The Burger 48 Cruiser has been a success with another unit delivered, and a 50 variant currently under construction.

New Launch: Burger 103 Northland

Burger's latetest launch is the 103 Northland triple deck super yacht, which features a modern exterior design and contemporary interior decor developed by the award winning designer Luiz de Basto of Miami, Florida USA. De Basto, working closely with the owner, created a stylish, ocean going, long range explorer yacht for cruising and fishing the world's hot spots.  For the Northland 103 De Basto went with a four guest cabin layout including an owners stateroom on the top deck.  Crew accommodation is for four persons. The Burger 103 Northland is powered by twin Caterpillar 475hp engines, which give a cruising range of approximately 4000 nautical miles at 9 knots.  Northland is built to ABS classification, and is a welcome addition to the wide array of custom Burger yachts cruising the world's oceans.

Project: Burger 40m Motor Yacht

US super yacht builder Burger presents this project for the 40m Motor Yacht.  This two decks and a half sleek super yacht is a design to Ivan Erdevicki responsible for both the interior, and exterior lines.  She is to be built in light alloy and should weigh around over two hundred tons loaded.  Her interior layout is a four guest cabins on the lower deck, and an owners stateroom on the forward part of the main deck.  She is to be powered by twin 2600hp MTU which give speeds of 22 knots max, 14 of cruise, and 11 of economic long range.
