Improve-it = Doma 5

Astilleros de Alicante has introduced new styling improvements for the Doma 5 during the fall of 2008 and presented for the first time at the Barcelona Boat Show. The Doma 5, which waiting for the new 7 is the current flagship of the Alicante boat builder range, gets 6 total improved areas: two concerning the outside, and three for the interior with important redesign elements adding space, and a more convivial area. Builder Alicante tells us that the main difference here versus the previous Doma 5 are the following. Concerning the exterior it gets a new deck with a walk around configuration, and lateral side decks are now wider deeper giving more safety to the persons moving forward. Inside the Spanish builder advices off a a ten per cent increase in space thanks to better spaces distribution, redesign of saloon galley area making all this area more functional, wider access to the cabins in the lower deck, and last an engine room re-design.

New Model: Doma 3 Avante

The Alicante Shipyard presents the 3 Doma in the new Avante version. Avante in this case meaning for a hard top offering an alternative all weather sports cruiser, but still retaining the rounded sporty lines which have made this models a success for the young Spanish builder. This new hard top version for this 39 feet of length overall sports cruiser shows the versatility the Spanish builder wants to make, not only by offering a huge range of colors and interior options to the future owners but also by creating another alternative model to the 3 Doma in the Avante version. The Alicante Doma 3 Avante retains the spaciousness of the normal version of a spacious 2 cabin interior with a nice L-shaped saloon to port, a well sized L-shaped galley also to port and a very spacious shower head. Outside it retains the very alternative cockpit with loads of seating space, 2 spacious sun beds aft and another solarium forward on deck. Performance is a fast 41 knots with the big double 370hp Volvo D6 option.

New Model: Doma 4

The new Doma 4 represents the third model from this young but very interesting Spanish builder, offering a versatile modern range of medium sized sports cruisers. Designed by the Barracuda Yacht and the Anders Design firms, the new Doma 4 model sits in the middle between the smaller 3 and bigger 5 model, introduced so far by this builder. It offers an interesting exterior design with a very innovative minimal style approach giving something different to customers looking for a hard top sports cruiser. Interior accommodation is a comfortable 2 cabin 2 head layout, with a covered if you want patio door upper saloon lounging area up top and a separate spacious galley down. Power is a shaft driven MAN engine option of 450hp or 550hp as optional. Performance is an estimated 35 knots of maximum with continues cruising speeds at 29 knots with the bigger option. The 4 model continues the policy for a high range of customization available for the client who chooses the Spanish builder, with a high range of colors available to personalize your boat as one would wish.

Project: Alicante Doma 7

Astilleros de Alicante is ready to launch the construction of Doma 7. The design and project definition is already finished and to do so, Astilleros de Alicante has joined prestigious companies, such as Anders Design for the styling and Barracuda Yachts for the naval architecture. Doma 7, a 22 meters motorboat, a new model which is presented by an avant-garde design and a complete study of the internal functionality. As result, the saloon will have two independent relax areas, also the space downstairs is remarkable, particularly in the galley and in the master cabin, were we can see dimensions typically used in bigger yachts. The exterior design of Doma 7 offers three independent areas. The first of them is the solarium forward. Secondly, the cockpit with hydraulic platform provides habitability and comfort to have pleasant journeys. Finally, the solarium on the hard-top clearly identifies the innovative proposals from Doma 7. Project: Doma 3 Avante

Astilleros de Alicante presents its new motorboat the Doma 3 Avante. The new model enlarges the Doma 3 range, which now is made of two versions, the open version and the new Doma 3 Avante, characterized by its superb cockpit hard top cover providing this motorboat with an exclusive personality. The exterior is a combination of the most innovative sport spirit but with a retro touch. The new Doma sports cruiser offers the finest materials like noble wood and natural leather, but the customer can select his alternatives to tailor his Avante. Technology and quality is in constant evolution and this new Doma improves the construction as the internal bulkheads with isoftalic resins and vinilester with Airex core of double contour, provide an increase in the rigidity and stability of the structure but reducing the weight to about 10%. These are just a few examples of the technological improvements that Doma 3 Avante introduces.

Project: Doma 4

Astilleros de Alicante from Spain presents Doma 4, a new hard top sports cruiser model with a 13.50 metres overall lenght, and a 4.32 m beam. Developed with the latest technology the Doma 4 will be introduced in the next Barcelona Boat Show 2007. As all Astilleros Doma, manufacturing occurs with highly sophisticated milling technique of 5 axis, a new technology rarely used in the luxury yacht segment. With such characteristics, the benefits provided by Doma 4 are optimal navigation conditions, and pleasant sea journeys. Its interior provides two spacious cabins and two complete bathrooms. Power is from twin engines totalling 900hp. Electrical bathing platform, and extraordinary habitability are clear examples of the comprehensive standard equipment the Doma 4 represents.
