New Model: Viking 90 SB

In the early part of 2023 Viking launched its new 90 SB flagship, a 27 meters super sportfish yacht with all the birds and whistles.   A replacement to the 92 which debuted in the fall of 2014 and produced till 2022 sold in 21 units, of which sixteen where in the Enclosed Bridge variant.  The 90 is also the third in size Viking ever made if we add the 93 MY which sold in only one unit in 2017.  Following the introduction of Selective Catalytic Treatment Viking would have continued production of the non stop selling 92, but the new rules needed the New Gretna to go back to the drawing board and make a flagship with a 24 meter hull length.  The 90 looks all based on the 92 with an identical beam and will offer a five double stateroom layout with an owners master stateroom at midships.  A crew cabin with separate shower is located aft.  Beside the Sky Bridge version off hull one the 90 is also available in Enclosed Bridge or open Convertible version, with this being sold as hull number four and has started construction in the fall of 2022.  Available with three engines from standard Cats 1925hp, or optional 2433hp, and MTU 2635hp with these last fitted to hull one.  The 90 has so far sold in fifteen units after its debut at the Viking VIP preview in end January, and World launch in the Miami boat show in February 2013.
