New Model: X-Power 33C

With more than forty years of experience in performance sailing boats, X-Yachts by surprise enter into powerboat with the X-Power 33C.  A classic design inspired with minimal touches sport cruiser, the X-Power 33C was presented as a project in 2019 and after some serious testing in the Danish sea launched in the early part of 2021.  For its ten meter size the 33C offers interesting spaces outside, and an interior sleeping two in a spacious V-berth forward.  The X-Power 33C is powered by a Yanmar 320hp up to 370hp single engine. The 33C will use a patented Petestep hull; a vee shape hull which from the rendering on the official website features different triangle designed spray rails with the last of these forming a step.  The X-Power 33C looks a very well thought out seaworthy sport cruiser, yet its a let down that in all this is only available with a single engine and a CE C design category, meaning only thought out for coastal cruising.  As the X-Power range goes a hard top cabin version of the X33 is currently under build set to launch in 2022, while a bigger over twelve meters in size larger model is set for 2023.

  1. you usually give a lot of interesting data but somehow you forgot or didn't even know that X-yachts bought Swedish builder HOC Yachts and that's where roots of their first motorboat are: https://afloat.ie/resources/x-yachts-gb-irl/item/44511-x-yachts-moves-into-powerboat-market-with-acquisition-of-swedish-builder-hoc-yachts

  2. Thank you for your comment. If you look on the Project post, the X-Yachts taking over HOC yachts and remoulding the 33 Cruiser is being talked about. https://www.poweryachtblog.com/2020/09/project-x-power-33c.html
