Web: Ferretti New Web Site

The headlining brand of the Ferretti Group, Ferretti Yachts presents its new World wide web virtual showroom.  This new website also coincides with the full integration of the Customline, and Navetta lines under the Ferretti Yachts badge.  Ferretti was started up in 1968 with brothers Norberto and Alessandro expanding their car dealership company into boat and yacht selling, distributing and selling; Chris Craft, Italcraft, and San Lorenzo in the beginning.  Three years later to this Ferretti build their first boat a ten meter motor sailor, and in 1979 they build the first motor boat.  The last Ferretti sail boat was build in 1988 and some of the eighties build models here already featured a raised saloon, and still have a following fan base in the used market. After the switch from a sail to power the scope of the marque for innovation, quality orientated and bigger boats takes a new step and in 1987 Ferretti builds its first boat over fifty feet with the 52 Altura model, and in 1997 also presents its first super yacht over eighty feet with the 80 model.  An important step for Ferretti was also made in 1990 when they signed up Rome designer Giovanni Zuccon with his first design being the 54 model later renamed to 175 Fly and 60 produced till 1997.  From there onwards Ferretti and Zuccon worked together non stop and since that year all the new models of the Forli company have featured the renowned Italian designer signature.  In 1996 Ferretti also started the foundation of the Custom Line series, with the launching of the first model the 94 launched in 1998.  The largest Ferretti ever build has been the 128 Custom Line which was in its last series of production re-badged under the CRN brand.  Ferretti innovative spirit has always been part of its DNA and over the years having made important World firsts which have changed motor boating not only to the company itself but also a general change, one of the most important one was the extended integrated bathing platform idle for tender storage first shown in 1986 on the 49 Altura, and also for its folding up patio door window system which fully connected exterior and interior main decks, and last and not least the Anti Rolling Gyro developed in collaboration with Mitsubishishi in 2004.  Ferretti also competed in Class One winning World championship in 1994 and 1997, and European title in 1995 and 1997.  Ferretti currently produces fifteen models for the lines Yachts, Custom Line, and Navetta, in three different sites; Forli, Cattolica, and Ancona this last for the bigger super yachts.  Currently the entry level Ferretti is the 530, while the flagship is the 124 Custom Line.  The latest models for 2013 have been the 960 new flagship of the Yachts line and the 750.  Ferretti new web site is available in English, Italian, and Chinese language and takes you around with the following buttons; Ferretti World, Heritage, News and Events, and Contacts.  Ferretti is also available in Social networks hubs as; Facebook, Linkedin, Youtube, Pintrest, and Twitter with a link to these available at the bottom of the site.
