Boat Show - Cannes 2013 Preview

Of all the international boat shows on the European side, Cannes has found itself as being the most important show of the year.  Many factors have made this happen, but this surely comes for it being held in one of the most long standing prime nautical locations in the Mediterranean sea and in Europe.  The rest comes from seeing an international show in the water with different builder types and clients, having also sea trials possible, and also for providing a big portion of it dedicated to brokers.  The Cannes show is also the largest exhibition where most of the latest models are being shown, the new boats which will can make or break a year for a builder some times.  Cannes boat show 2013 editions happens from 10 to the 15 September and this is a taste of the new models presented; Absolute 45 Fly, 56 HTC, 56 Fly, and 64 Fly, Amer 100 Cento, Arcoa 52 Sword, Astondoa 63 Top Deck, Azimut 53 Magellano and 80, Azimut Atlantis 50, Bilgin 132 X-Bow, Cranchi 54 HT, 53 Eco Trawler Long Distance and 27 Endurance, Canados 106, Cantieri delle Marche 96 Darwin, Couach 2600 Fly and 13 meter Hornet, Dominator 640, Fairline 48 Targa, Ferretti 750 and 960, Faucher 850 Phantom, Galeon 445 HTS, Jeanneau 38 Leader, MonteCarlo Yachts MC4 and MCY86, Moonen 100 Expolorerm, Lobster 65, Overmarine 94 Mangusta, Pershing 62, Princess V48 and V48 Open, and Sunseeker 55 Manhattan and 80 Sport Yacht.

  1. lot of interesting and innovative models in the 40-50 ft range

    hopefully some of them will be at Southampton as well.

  2. Apart the British builders i.e. Princess, Sunseeker and Fairline, I doubt it very much Fred.
