New Model: Viking 55 Convertible

Viking presents its new for 2013 55 Convertible. An important size sport fish yacht from Viking, but a challenge for the 1996 presented 55 which sold 150 units in a production run of just over five years.  The cockpit and flying bridge have been designed around the experiences of a thousand fishing tournaments, but as usual to Viking conveniences and amenities like a center console helm station, or observation mezzanine in the split level cockpit exists also for the more chill out user and is crew. Accommodations include an inviting layout with three staterooms and two heads sleeping six, a laundry center and a choice of salon floor plans featuring an island or peninsula style galley with under counter refrigeration. You can choose high gloss or satin finished teak joinery, along with a multitude of interior furnishings to customize it to your specific needs and wants. The 55 Convertible also features an option for the forward stateroom which is available with a three berth layout for the buddies.  Viking estimates max speed of 40 knots for the 55 Convertible with twin MAN 1550hp engines.
