New Model: Hatteras GT54

Hatteras continues to present its new line of convertibles with the fall 2010 baptized GT60. Now the Carolina boat builder follows it with a second model the new GT54 which will launch officially today at the Miami show. The new GT54 is based on the hull lines of the 54 Convertible which was already rated as one of the most seaworthy sport fish in her size, but a lot has changed from the water line above in this new model, which also has a new shear line and modified super structure design. Inside the new GT54 also offers more room with two interior plan choices, sleeping six or seven berths in a three cabins with two heads lower deck. The changes here occur in the VIP cabin to fore offered in a standard queen double bed, or optional three berth; two plus one layout. Worth to note is also the saloon on the main deck, which is now a flush floor plan offering two L-shaped sofas, and galley. Power for the Hatteras GT54 is a standard of two Cats 1150hp, or optional 1600hp. This last choice delivers a fast 41 knots top speed, which also makes the GT54 the fastest and most nimble performer in this new Hatteras line.
