New Model: Outer Reef 86 Skylounge

Outer Reef Yachts of Fort Lauderdale recently launched their new 86 Skylounge long range MotorYacht, to fully Bureau Veritas Class. Bound for Turkey, this new flagship of the Outer Reef line will be playing the waters of the Mediterranean Sea and the scenic islands along the coast of Turkey. Built for a very experienced yachtsmen and shipping magnate in Istanbul, he insisted on a yacht built to exacting standards and of the highest quality. Sea Trials were performed in Taiwan in middle December and the Super Yacht performed flawlessly, under the scrutiny of BV inspectors, the owner and his Captain. The 86 Skylounge is also equipped with STAR system stabilization at rest provided by TRAC. The Turkish owner opted for a four cabin interior with a full beam owners suite, and VIP cabin to fore. Crew quarters with two cabins, a lobby and direct engine room access is located to aft. The 86 Skylounge is powered by twin Cats 705hp engines. Outer Reef Yachts is also currently building a new 70' model for an Australian client to Queensland Commercial Survey, a very stringent building code for commercial vessels. This vessel will be put into commercial charter service and will serve as a mother ship for sport fishing expeditions on the Great Barrier Reef.
