Barcelona Boat Show is back between 7 and 15 November 2009, taking part in its two venues of Gran Via and Port Vell. Barcelona will be showcasing a wide variety of products from big shipbuilders and leading nautical companies, which show the most comprehensive range of sailing accessories, nautical charters, motorboats, sailboats, inflatables, speedboats, engines, fishing tackle, marinas and nautical tourism. You can also take part in a huge range of activities which for 2009 is set to repeat the 200 number as in 2008, including training courses, product demonstrations, some of the biggest regattas of the year, prize giving ceremonies, new book launches, etc. The show will also have these five dedicated areas: Espai Innovacio showing technological benchmark with the exhibition of R+D+I projects, The Fun Beach Zone for the youth with surfing, windsurfing, flysurfing, wakeboarding, canoes, kayaks and dinghies, Traditional Sailing organising work towards recovering historical maritime heritage, Espai Del Pescador for recreational and educational activities that encourage responsible fishing, and Espai Del Mar showing activities relating to the marine environment. One of the top three boat shows in Europe in terms of quality and attendance figures, with the home Spanish builders using Barcelona to present a number of first showings. These are the 2009 novelties in Spain: Astondoa 50 Fly, Rodman 50 Muse, Menorquin MY120 / 36 Llauts Cabinado, and Scarani 35 Day Cruiser.
