One of the legendary brand names forming part of the yachting World is surely Cantieri Baglietto founded 1854 in Varazze, by Pietro Baglietto. While this super yacht builder is mostly renowned today for the unique yachts it builds, its history started as a builder of fishing boats and later on translated to speed boats, in which the Baglietto fame grew thanks to the breaking of various speed records. The new website of this legendary builder is divided into seven sections: Company, Yacht, Location, Services, Press, Mythos Yachts and Owners Club. Something not to miss for sure is the History of the yard featured in the Company section from late 1841, the year Pietro Baglietto was born till today. Another good read is the Mythos Yachts magazine published every season by the Camuzzi Group owner of the shipyard, and goes into detail about luxury, the recent launches from the shipyard and future projects to come.June 14, 2008
