Boat Show - Croatia 2008 Preview

Opening it's doors on the 5th and closing on the 13th of April, the 2008 Croatia Boat Show, 10th edition of the Adriatic Show continues to build on the success of the previous editions which confirmed the growing trend in the regional nautical industry and its status as the biggest event of its kind in Southeast Europe. This important event has made an important progress, thanks to all those involved: exhibitors and buyers, the city of Split, the region of Dalmatia and the Republic of Croatia. The success of this event is the result of a systematic exhibition approach in one of the most charming cruising space in the world, Croatia, thus not offering only a big top ten World boat show in the region which gathers important boat builders, equipment makers and nautical service providers, but also a great nautical event. The 2007 edition made one giant leap toward the sea with over 120.000 squared meters of in-water exhibition space, confirming it to be a perfectly organized event with serious business orientation. In the nine days of the show 50.000 visitors, came to the beautiful City port to admire the exhibits, and more than 1.300 exhibitors put on display the best they had: 271 vessels at sea, 154 vessels on land, numerous booths with nautical accessories and equipment and also luxury cars. The tenth edition of the show will take place on the newly renovated Split waterfront promenade, in the very heart of the city and by the monumental palace of the Roman emperor Diocletian. We believe the tenth edition of the Croatia Boat Show will once again prove how important the event is for the expansion of nautical tourism in the Croatian Adriatic, proving to be a hot spot for the builders. This years world first is from a young and interesting boat builder Monachos, making the world debut for the 45 Pharos, while famous Italian yacht builder Aicon will be present officially with all the range of motor and sport yachts from 54 up to 85 feet.
